Latest work...

I threw this sketch together in about 20-30 minutes... First time I picked up the pencil in almost 2 months now...

If I say so myself, it came out quite well even for not doing much of anything lately... I made a few errors on the face/jaw considering proportions and whatnot, but overall I think it's quite nice.

Post your comments on this and then maybe I'll get around to inking it sometime tonight

Very nice job Hasaki, although his hand is a bit strange looking. It could be bigger. This would look awesome inked, if not coloured.

I messed up a little on his thumb.. It's supposed to be behind where the blade and handle meet... It's like... behind then in front O_o I'll clean it up a bit (fix the jaw/face a lil, and fix up his hand and make the sword longer), and then ink it tonight.

Sounds great. Do you know how to colour using Photoshop? You prolly do, but whatever.

Isn't it Skorpion with a "k"? I'm pretty sure that it has to be changed to a "k". It is, after all, Mortal Kombat.

Here we go... (I didn't draw this, my friend did. I did the coloring REAL quick in Photoshop... prolly my quickest color job o_o)

Is it meant to be a Zergling? It's pretty good looking, even for a rush-job. Usually Starcraft has a darker style to it, than what you did.

Yeah, I did it without any referances for color... Picked them out on my own. If I spent time on it I'd probably have added highlites and more then one shading layer... But as you can see I only used a base color and one layer of shading. Meh.

Hey...it could have been worse. You could have made it blue!

I didn't even use a light source for that color job... I just sprayed shading wherever I wanted >_>

But anyways, I'll do a quick inking of the ninja and have it up in like.. 15-20 minutes..? Depends. I have to edit it a little in Photoshop (I never ink over my pencil drawings), and then re-scan, so it may take longer.

I can't ink well at all. It always comes out looking like black pencil. Try using the smudge tool+guassan blur, if it helps.

I draw lots of pictures of pacman as he would appear under the influence of various drugs though.

Here we go, done inking... I did a VERY BAD job on the sword... My french curve set broke, so I couldn't bust out with it for perfect curvature inking I'll have to go pick some more up when I got money...

Also, the line weight didn't come out how I wanted it to because I can't find the rest of my Micron set >_> I used a .45 mm line width Micron to ink... Usually I'd use smaller first to get details, then use the .45 to add in any weight I wanted... Oh well.

Needless to say, it's still an awesome pic.

Yeah, I personally still like it. Would have been soooo much better if I had my french curve set, and could find the rest of my Micron set I loved those pens.... *tear*
