Starfox Six: The Geonox Generator
This is my first script-story that I have writen independently, it is strictly based a short while after Starfox Assault. The crew encounter a new unknown planet, but they become unaware of the circumstances of what a simple expedition to a planet can cause. I would appreciate critisism and opinionative comments if possible. Here goes...
Chapter I: Enigmatical Exploration After encountering a new planet the crew become bewildered and astounded as they take on a turn of events. ROB: Data analysis confirms the location of a possible new planet; my sensors indicate a fortuitous chance of encountering a new unidentified world Falco: Bout time! We’ve been constantly travelling indecisively through repetitious space and haven’t come across a thing, this may brighten things up! Fox: Hmm...Interesting its unspecified so it seems as ROB stated that we have indeed discovered a new planet! ROB can you verify its exact semblance? ROB: Negative, I can’t seem to signalise it to any extent or angle...according to the classification detectors it can’t analyse it at all, it’s very peculiar Peppy: What about the amplitude implementations? They are very innovative, accurate pieces of hardware; surely they have detected or identified something? ROB: Negative, they also seem to be unable to carry out the analysis...the only information we have received is the rather inaccurate distance radius Fox: Strange, how were able to pick it up on your sensors ROB? If surely your sensors were correct, it would have confirmed at least a bit more information...strange Falco: Well the only reasonable explanation would be that the only thing that is functional on this god-damn ship is ROB! We can’t retrieve any info from any of the ship’s computer scanners or systems Peppy: This may sound quite ridiculous, but I suspect the planet’s “naturally” inaugurated a unique system that disconnects all information and communication; this would explicate the matter of why we can’t identify its characteristics! There is something that is blocking and disabling our access and authorisation Fox: Hey Peppy that’s actually very possible! It would explain why we can’t receive any information whatsoever regarding the characteristics and semblance of the planet; our necessary means of systematic hardware are not getting through! Something is definitely blocking us! Falco: Geez, I wouldn’t have suspected that a planet had the capability to do that! I mean come on, all the computerized scanners and hardware systems that are currently activating non-stop! It’s just...well implausible Peppy: I must say I admire this unique system, its not comparison to any planet in the entire Lylat System! This highly sophisticated natural system is of exceptional ingenuity, it’s very intriguing! Falco: Hey, hey keep your ears on! Remember were only believing your personal explanation and perspective, it might not be what you think ya know! I highly doubt it myself, it’s just not possible! Fox: Well it’s the only resourceful elucidation we have so we got to assume it is for now! Peppy: Let’s proceed with caution! We never know what we might expect [The Great Fox accelerates deep into the nebulosity of the Lylat System. The thick, great masses of nebulas make it difficult for the Great Fox to travel through] ROB: Currently approaching multiple giant masses of nebulas, possible risk of poor perspective for the ship’s course Fox: Wow! It’s really dusty in these parts, I wonder why? We haven’t experienced or encountered nebulas before and in such a great mass! Peppy: Interesting, it seems a lot of singular nebulas have conjoined to form one large great mass of dust and gas; it’s very rare to come across something like this Falco: Wait these ain’t nebulas! I know I don’t possess a lot of dexterity, but just by looking at them you can easily tell that they are not nebulas! Fox: Hey you’re right! I mean nebulas consist and form very differently, the shear mass and appearance of it completely differentiates from nebulas [Enter Beltino Toad] Beltino: What you are seeing is a gigantic mass of micro-granules all conform to similarities with nebular gases! These however are quite different, they are called Nebluscities, and it simply means a large mass of singular nebluses that have assembled to form one gigantic Nebluscity Fox: So what are you saying is that these are Nebluscities and that a singular one of these is a neblus? Beltino: Precisely, it seems as if a chemical reaction has occurred causing them to expand and intensify significantly! The singular nebluses have become contracted to a great mass as if by magnetism Falco: Man, a Nebluscity! It’s like a very own community of where these so called nebluses gather, god I am so perplexed its all very hard for a bird to take in! Beltino: It’s quite simple when you possess the power of knowledge! This great mass or Nebluscity could cause some problems mostly with the ship’s perspective! We must modify certain adjustments necessary in order to precede safety through this gigantic mass of dust and gas...but now I must continue with my research [Beltino leaves the room and the crew are left with there predicament] Peppy: Hmm...A Nebluscity eh? Well no matter what it takes we got to make it through this! Apprehension is not acceptable, we must believe! Fox: Right! Let’s accelerate through this at full velocity and see what waits for us at the other side, it’s our only hope, [The Great Fox accelerates at an intense velocity passing through the vast Nebluscity that was shrouding them in thick dust and gases. After a while of poor perspective they end up at the other side and have now come into a new zone] Peppy: For some bizarre reason I get the feeling that the Nebluscity was actually the gateway or obstacle to pass to come to this new void! I don’t think we are in the Lylat System Falco: Whoa no way!! You mean that thing back there transported us here? It was only a gateway? Fox: It’s very possible but we don’t know that for certain yet, ROB! Justify our location! ROB: Location anonymous! However, according to the scanners the proximity of the planet has been constantly fluctuating Peppy: Fluctuating? Odd, I wonder if dignifies some relevance with the “natural” unique system I speculated early on about the planet Fox: Hey yeah! It’s starting to make sense, but I am still bewildered and uncertain of what these odd turn of events are clarifying Falco: Man I hate it when I don’t understand something! So now we don’t even know where we are!! Geez, I can’t anticipate what’s gunna happen next! [Then at that precise moment Slippy bursts in shocking some of the crew] Fox: Whoa! Hey Slippy what’s up? Is there something wrong? Slippy: I’m afraid so, during inspection I noticed that our plasma engine is running exceedingly low on power! I ran a full analysis check to identify the problem, and it specifically stated ostensibly that something has been devitalising our power! Falco: No way!! Just when I expect the worst to happen it does!! I might have as well shut my bird-beak, well now what! No engine power means trouble Slippy: Not only that but it seems the internal dynamics and the unceasing alternative engines are failing to restore power! Peppy: Hmm...I can’t see how this could be possible; we fully implemented a new Power Restore System to avert the possibility of power shortage Slippy: It seems like that ain’t functioning either! This whole ship is running low on fuel and energy; it’s even using Emergency Power to revitalise itself!! Fox: I can’t really imagine what might have caused this to happen, but if we need to ensure maximum safety we got to impact the nearest planet! Slippy: Yeah real quick! The engines are suffering from critical overload, it cause a meltdown which would destroy the whole ship!!!! ROB: Warning! Warning! Engine malfunction, suffering from major impairment, a critical overload is imminent! Falco: We gotta do something fast!! What I wanna know is what’s causing all of this power drainage! It’s as if the engine’s power has been drained by something! Peppy: Hmm...I wonder, Slippy: Wonder what? Peppy! Tell us we must know your justification to try and solve what the purpose of this strange power and fuel drain is!! Peppy: Its mere speculation, but I suspect that this strange unnatural loss of energy and power is within relevance to the “natural” unique system that was embedded into the planet! It must have another anomalous ability to debilitate nearby ships that occupy a lot energy and fuel... Fox: But, if this is so then this incredible highly sophisticated natural system is retaining all of our fuel for some specific purpose! Slippy: Or it may be a necessary precaution to obstruct passing intruders, a kinda of a defence mechanism! Falco: Such capability! To think it would have the unique capacity to do all this Fox: Hmm...We need to rectify the situation logically before we start jumping to conclusions, ROB using the Emergency Simultaneous Incorporated Appliances, we must accelerate! Considering the limited capacity of fuel...we gotta try and see if we can make it!! ROB: Affirmative! ESIA’S engaged, accelerating at full velocity Falco: Where are we gunna land!! There’s no planet in sight, it’s completely desolate! Peppy: I guess we got to pull through and hope for the best! We can’t afford to rationalize yet, we’re just going to have to find out! [The Great Fox becomes destabilized and uses its remaining Emergency Fuel to keep it functioning for as long as it takes] ROB: High expectancy of extensive inclement Fox: Inclement?? That must mean...?? Peppy: Yes, although we are unaware of it we are actually within the planet’s atmosphere...it has climatic conditions after all, its not spurious it’s very authentic indeed Falco: Huh? We’ve entered the planet’s atmosphere without knowing it or having no awareness? How is that possible? Fox: Hmm...Must have some affiliation with a misperception or deception, as if we were not aware of it...very strange Peppy: Maybe another of the planet’s natural aptitudes, it can suppress the planet’s semblance leaving the travellers perplexed and unaware, amazing capabilities I must say! Falco: Hey quit admiring it will ya! We are getting pulverized by it here!! AHHHHH!! [The Great Fox becomes highly unstable and impacting the atmosphere at a formidable force] ROB: Suffering from major impairment, main engines becoming intensively unstable, forceful impact is imminent Fox: Uh...oh we are in for a bang if it impacts the ground at this velocity!! All I have to say before that happens is...Good Luck and nice working with you all Falco: Yeh back at ya dude! We’re in for quite a crash!!! I shall embrace you all before I become reduced to feather fragments, micro-molecules, insignificant ions and pulverulent particles Peppy: I for one shall devour my last energy carrot, proven to relieve stress and supply the entire body and skeletal structure with vast quantities of magnetic energy, guaranteed to give off a nice release of energy-enzymes, giving my body a nice energetic feel, a great way to feel before become deceased and reduced to dust Fox: Very well, then I shall well I will just hug [The crew gather in a circle to embrace and close there eyes and cross there hearts, waiting of what is going to happen next] END OF CHAPTER I Chapter II: Surface of the Rock Coming Soon
