Zelda: The Final Battle

I drew this picture today. Its Ganondorf and Link fighting the final battle, where Ganondorf later is gone forever. This is a Link that wasnt in any of the games, and this is the same Ganondorf as every other game, except his hair is longer, and he looks older and a little different. I didnt shade it yet though. Opinions are wanted

(This drawing is not finished yet)

Re: Zelda: The Final Battle

Please, when you scan something, reduce the image size. We don't want to see the image at 1200 dpi.

As for the pic, it isn't too bad, but it could be better. You need to improve your figures a bit, and the faces really need alot of work. The clothing needs work, too, especially with the folds. Shading and more detail would definetly help this picture alot. It's a good start, though.

Try this site for tips, even if you don't want to draw in anime. It still helps alot.

Re: Zelda: The Final Battle

O.o

That is one the biggest picture that I've seen in my life! XD

The idea is beautiful, but a lot of improvment is needed such as the face, the body, etc.

And I agree, with SearanoX. Next time when you scan, please try to scale it down to around 500px. This picture is too big to view correctly, and thus, people can't really give you any good advice if they can't see clearly.

Other than that, practice, practice, and more practice. Don't get discouraged though. Keep it up!

Whoa, calm down. I was just offering some constructive critisizm. I was under the impression that the picture was done, considering you didn't say otherwise.

Re: Zelda: The Final Battle

Ah, much better. Now I can see which parts are wrong more clearly. Now remember, I KNOW that you haven't finished this. Just giving you some ideas on how to make the final copy better.

First, the face anatomy isn't exactly correct. The teeth shouldn't be out of the mouth that much.

Second, the perspective is slightly off. If Ganondorf is facing Link who is further away, Ganondorf's face should be turning more to the left, and thus showing less of his face.

Third, the angle of the limbs are slightly off as well. For Link, it seems as if his head is twisted 190 degrees with the legs angling at that position. You might want to fix that.

Finally, the folds of the clothes needs some more work, same as the hair.

The best way to get correct anatomy and texture is to view yourself in the mirror and see how the clothes fold and how your hair moves, positions, etc.

Good luck!

Hey calm down there, they were just giving advice they are now finished with. They meant no insulting and you just insulted them in full frontal. Apologize.

Link appears to be holding his sword behind his back. I hope you're going to colour it, it'll look better with a bit of colour.
