Path to Victory Screams of a Vampire and A word misconstrued

Here's 3 writings of mine. The first and third ones are some of my best and the second one is one of my worst, but I'm posting it anyway.

Path to Victory

From every thing held so dear
To everything that i feared
Why does it seem these things
Now i don't care

But i still must find a way
to better my life day by day
All ive known is being cast away
To find my own path to victory

Everything I wanted
Everything i thought as mine
Will life get better
Or is this the bottom line

Too stuck to think
Too ignorant to realize
The magnitude of this
defined by my lies

The life i once lived
The one i thought i did
One set on a path of mental destruction
full of dysfunction
Even if it was just a story
It was still on the path to victory

This road was never meant to be taken
Just like the life forsaken
Am i mistaken
Or am i trying to hide
behind my lies
of love and hatred

I never thought id know
how far this would go
And i am still behind
A new path i will find
A new path i must find

If you keep your promises
I'll never forget
My path to victory
and all of my regrets

Here's the 2nd. You have no clue how I hate writing about love and this is a crapy poem of mine, enjoy the badness..

A Word Misconstrued

What is love
But an emotion
a feeling,
or is it a word misconstrued

You say you love someone
Before you know
Who they are
What they are

Just because you like someone
And care a little more
Doesnt mean you love someone
Or know if their worth living for

I am caught in a web of emotion
One side says i care
The other just a momentary emotion
It says the care will fade

The memories of her might fade
The caring will fade with it
But i will never know what could be
If that emotion i stick with it

But deep in my heart
I know its impossible
The caring will fade
Along with the memories

I know its not love
Because I dont know
Much about her
Just what she shows

Screams of a Vampire

I can feel death
The time has begun
As new life arises
With ther set of the sun
I die now only to be reborn
Out of love,hate,and scorn

A new taste sets inside
Is this need mine?
The desire for blood
The fear in their faces
I scream now inside
For the monster i've become

Light is my enemy
Darkness my ally
I don't want to do this
Why must it be me?
The immortal one
the vampire
Thats become Me


So that's a showing of how well and how bad I can write, please don't comment on the second, think of it as a joke poem if you will.
