The Legend of Zelda: Infestation

HEY!! Its me, Hungry Gamer. I’m not dead, I just retired for a while. So today I just decided to get off my ass and fire up that old Windows 95. Plus that upload button was getting rusty again. Meh. Anyway, I just this is my Christmas present to my fans at fanfiction.net (and the Zelda Universe fourms).

The Legend of Zelda: Infestation

CRASH!!! The Guards of Hyrule Castle immediately jumped at the sound. They ran towards the nearby window to find that it was broken into. The guards gasped at the sight.

"Sound the alarm!" Shouted one of the guards, "We have an intruder!"

A loud whining sound soon could be heard thoughout the castle. Every guard became alert and readied their weapons. The 15-year-old Princess Zelda awakened in a jolt. She immediately got out of bed and ran out the room.

"What’s going on?!" she asked the nearby soldier.

"There’s an intruder in the castle!" answered the guard, "We need you to get out of the castle!"

Zelda didn’t need to know anything else. She quickly took of running towards the exit. The guard followed her to protect her. As they ran down the hall an explosion blew a nearby wall down. Zelda and the guard stopped and gasped in horror, for it was the king’s room that exploded.

"FATHER!!!!" shouted Zelda, praying that the King wasn’t in the attack.

"He’s all right!" shouted a nearby voice.

Zelda recognized the voice to be Impa’s and looked around for her.

"Zelda don’t look for me! Just get out of the castle!" shouted Impa.

"But what about..."

"Your father is fleeing the castle! Just go!!"

Zelda didn’t think anymore, she just quickly began to run. More explosions could soon be heard as she ran. She ran until she noticed that noone was behind her. The guard that was following her was gone! Zelda began to grow a little scared. She turned around to see another explosion. This one blocked off the exit with a rock slide!

"Gah...!" That was the only thing that could come out of Zelda’s mouth at the time.

It then struck Zelda, that only one thing could be done. She ran back and into the jewelry room and unexpectedly found Impa.

"Zelda! I thought I told you to leave!" shouted Impa!

"The exit was blocked by an explosion! I can’t leave, so I need the Ocarina of Time to contact Link!" replied Zelda.

Impa looked a little restless. She picked up the Ocarina behind her and was about to hand it to Zelda before something crashed though the wall. Impa looked up at the thing and turned pale. Zelda also looked at it but didn’t have the same expression as Impa.

"Impa what’s the matter?! It’s only a giant bug... isn’t it?" asked Zelda as she looked at the thing.

"That’s no bug... thats one of the Naima, the Demon Parasite! It’s an unholy monster!

The Naima looked like a large white fly with no wings and a one eye. It was about as large as a infant’s skull and it flew, which was amassing due to it having no wings.

"I’m not that even sure Link could handle this now..." said Impa.

It was at that time the Naima lunched itself at the two women.

"Get out of the way!" shouted Impa as she pushed Zelda out of the way.

Impa used her ninja skills to jump out of the Naima’s path. She pulled out her blade in hopes of killing the insect. The Naima stared at Impa for a while before it few away. This puzzled both Zelda and Impa.

"Why did it leave?" asked Zelda, "Did you intimidate it?"

"Naima’s are very smart, so they say, so I highly doubt I intimidated it," answered Impa.

"So they say?"

"I’ll tell you about it later, right now, we have to get out of here. It may try to sneak attack us."

As soon as Impa finished her sentence, the wall behind them exploded. Impa was right when she said the Naima would sneak attack, because it came right through the wall and latched on the Sheikah’s back.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" cried Impa as she tried to throw the parasite off.

It was too late though, for seconds later Impa lost conciseness. Zelda looked again to find that the Naima completely vanished!

Zelda quickly ran. After she was out the room, she then remembered the Ocarina of Time. She soared back into the room to find that Impa gotten back up!

"Impa! What happened, I thought you..."

Zelda was immediately cut off when Impa punched her in the face.
