Shading Trouble

I don't know if this is the right board to post this in but here's my problem. I really like to draw and I plan to post my manga/comic later.But the thing is I don't know how to shade pictures correctly. :embrsd: Can anyone help me?

This should go in Art and Writing. As for your problem: get some art books, ask a friend [who can show you, liek a friend whom is physically there] or just practice.

Shading can be a bit of a difficult technique to master.

Do you understand the basics? Like, deciding where your shadows go based on where you place the light source and such?

It'd be a bit easier to help you with your shading if we could see some of your work. That way, everyone can see your art and point out what it is that you need to owrk on. Post some up and I'm sure I, or someone else, can help you.

Oh, and also, if you want a few good examples of shading, take a look at the works of Hyung-Tae Kim, his is some really professional stuff, he's got a great grasp on shading, and art as a whole. I'm sure a Google search could turn up a few tutorials, too.
