well ive been drawing link for a while, but for some reason ive never drawn the OoT link, i dunno maybe it seems as though he's "overdrawn" like when ever someone draws link its the OoT link. Welps!, here's my first drawing of OoT, hope you enjoy, tell me what ya think

P.S yea i know its on lined paper, I drew it like an hour ago, a quikie.

It's pretty good, but I don't think he looks like Link. He has a huge snoz, he quite hairy and yeah. It would be awesome if it wasn't suppost to be Link. Keep it up though! ^^

what hairy? yea he has head hair, but no facial hair.....hairy??

That's what I consider to be some good art.

The first picture of Link is quite good. The image is a bit small, but you can clearly see the detail and pose. Excellent work with that; all it really needs is to be finished by adding some proper shading, or using a pen to ink it.

The second one is very good as well. Character design isn't amazingly original, but the sense of proportion is incredible - everything seems to be in the right place. Not to mention that the character's design is also pretty awesome.

Good job with those; I'd like to see more.

Those are some awesome pictures that you've got. The only thing I'd like to say is on the very first one of Link, the head looks a tiny bit disproportional to the rest of his body. But, as you said it was a quicky, I can very much understand that. A don't really have anything to say to help with the others, they look fantastic, especial Gunrunner. Reminds me alot of the cyber ninja suit in Metal Gear Solid. I love the poses you've done the characters in aswell, they really show of their superiority. Nice one

Wow, I've got to say I like most of your art there vacumgod. I never knew how good you truely are. You really never cease to amaze me man! Here are some opinions I have of them (and I'll try to keep in mind that these are sketches).

OoT Link: Hmmm I find two things that seem a little "off" in this picture. His left leg looks like it's stretched a little back too far. Don't line up his left leg with his left elbo, align his left leg to possibly his left forearm so it could bring it in even closer. The second thing is his head. The face is great (it makes him look older, I like that), but the head seems like it's a litte disproportionate(sp?) to his body. When it comes to human beings, we have the largest heads when it's compared to the rest of our body. I think that the head should be slightly larger. Everything else in the picture, looks perfect.

Gun Runner: Very nice sketches indeed. He sorta reminds me of Slade from Teen Titans

Oni Link: Very nice usage of the contrast of shadows/shade being used throughout the body to give it a more 3D approach.

Hero of Men: Hmm I take it this is the Hero of Men we've been hearing about in tMC (I notice no hat.....yeah I'm a natural Sherlock ). I honestly think there are some body disproportionate things happening here. Link's Left arm (after it's bent towards the sword) looks quite odd to me. It doesn't look to me as if he was truely holding the sword the way you are drawing him as. It sorta looks like you're drawing it as if he had one small arm. Link's belt buckle is towards his left side, where it should be in the front. The blade looks short to me. I love the way you used shading to cover Link's eyes, giving him a more mysterious look to him.

Link 5: Absolutely nothing to complain about here. To be quite honest, this is my favorite picture out of all of them thus far.

The Unnamed Hunter: I'm very impressed. I like how everything is proportionate to everything else in the body. This truely is one of my faves....but it still doesn't beat Link 5 in my eyes.

Zora Concept: Whoa! Creepy much?! It's like a cross between The Legend of Zelda's Zora and Stephen King's Clown from "It". Other than the face (which is totally creeping me out right now), everything looks as if it could jump out of the page and actually swim. It's one thing to make an aquatic creature, it's another thing to make it look like it was made to adapt in that certain environment. Very strong and sleek body. Fins, and even webs between the fingers and toes. Nice touch.

Gun Runner Old: In the picture (I know this probably was one of your first attempts drawing Gun Runner) there seems to be something wrong with his chest area. Other than that, you were good to go.

I hope you took my opinions to harshly. I try to be tough (when it comes to critizism) so the artist can improove in the future.

vacuumgod, I have (almost) nothing bad to say or any skepticism to these drawings at all. You have a good understanding of anatomy. I like the proportions of Gunrunnet and the way you have shaded and cloured his features make him look extremely masculine. I love it!

The only catch was the first one of Link, which seemed to be a somewhat anatomically unbalanced. Other than that - I am hooked! I hope you will post more!

There is Captain Canuck, you know. Actually, there's two versions of him. One was a short-lived superhero and the other was a soldier who was in a propaganda comic in World War II who would go and beat the crap out of Hitler. :razz:

I'd have to agree with Sear here (hehe that rhymed!), it does look a little like Solid Snake, which isn't a bad thing at all. As far as Canadian Super Heros go, look into the Marvel Universe: Alpha Flight (Snowbird, Puck, Sasquach, etc...) and the most famous Canuck, Wolverine!

Holy hell. Dude, I wish I could I draw like you. Your concept sketches kickass. I really gotta hand it to you, you can draw, pretty damn fine I might add.
