The first ever Godzilla/kaiju sprite comic! ^_^

That's right people! Creativity is running wild with me today, so I have another fun idea to post! I see all these sprites comics around, and I've tried before to do them, but failed miserably...

Not now though! With a big collection of Godzilla sprites at Toho Kingdom.com, and the lame old Paint, this might be the start to a popular, cool sprite comic by me! Enjoy! ^_~

welll....you could really work on the background a little...just plain blue isn't very.."Oh, what a great comic!" -ish..and you could save the comic in .png, to make it look better. And, uhm...>_> no funny joke >_>

Yeah, but the simple backgrounds are the best with me. Uber-amazing/detailed ones make them usually come out really bad. I'll attempt it though sometime.

Meh, here's another, maybe better, and with a joke even a non-kaiju fan could probably understand ^_~

Sorry but, that still isn't the funniest joke out there. They're both pretty good. Just try some better jokes. I could almost predict what was going to happen in this one....

Eh, I don't get either of them. Nice try, anyhow.

God-dangit why can't non-kaiju fans understand these at all!? And why does everyone at the kaiju forums I'm at like them!? -_-

Er... are those "guard dogs" meant to be minni-Godzillas or something? Sorry if they're not, but that's what they look like... :confused:

Ahem.
Bad things:
1 - Jokes (overall) (I'm not a Godzilla fan so there might be jokes I don't understand.)
2 - Speak Bubbles, there fine but not very.. ye know.. good
3 - Background, where the hell are they?
4 - This isn't a sprite comic. A sprite comic is a picture with multiple frames. You only got one.
5 - At "Hey Godzilla" there should be a "," behind it.
6 - The... thingy on the left is just as big as Godzilla, but isn't Godzilla a very big monster?
Good things:
1 - Sprites are good! ^.^
2 - The joke on nr 3 is pretty nice.

I hope that you improve on these things. Thank you for time.

Mirren, Very nice comics. The sprites look great, and the jokes are okay(atleast the lats one)

The speech bubbles would look neater if more effort was put behind them...
(Ones similar to AMD would look good)

You're close. Those are sprites of the kaiju Angilas, a former enemy of Godzilla then turned his friend. He's a rather popular monster and a favorite amongst most kaiju fans *like me* It's always a joke that he looks like a dog or something, and come doesn't he a bit!

1. Then because you're not a fan of him it's understandable you don't get them ^_~

2. Yeah, I'm working on them, they were just especially bad for that one, don't know why.

3. They're really just anywhere half the time, working on that too.

4. Oh bah. They're sprites and they're comics/cartoon comics. I mean it literally, gimme a break

5. I write the dialogue exactly as they say it. Usually people don't take that pause.

6. Actually that thing *the robot kaiju Jet Jaguar* is exactly as tall as Godzilla in the movie he was in.

Thanks bud, I really like these ones. The sprites are indeed good, they're form Toho Kingdom.com as I've said, all from the various Godzilla video games. And don't worry I'm working on the jokes to make them less kaijuy ^_~

I'm working on the bubbles, my newest one has nice ones, but I'll use that link for help.

the jokes arent the best... and the backgrounds dont fit with the pixelation of the sprites... w/e. they are ok.

Good joke. Im still no Godzilla fan, but I saw the first movie, and this is the point where Godzillia gets out of the water and destroys a boat. Right?
But ten comical of course.

Anyways he're two I made in about fifteen minutes, they're decent, in both jokes and quality-

This one is not as bad the other one... Its the JPG that causes it to hurt..


I didn't quite get the joke in the first one, but the second one was okay..

The bg in the second one was good aswell.. Use backgrounds like that.. Its neater..

And neat stuff is niice..
