The Year of the Hazz

Greetings to the many artists of ZU from the not-very-humble Din Clan. As Lord of said Clan, it is my privilege to begin what will hopefully become a monthly event on ZU - a contest to produce a piece of artwork that embodies each month in the Din Calendar.

If you wish to enter this competition, it is your task to produce artwork that embodies either the member of the Month, or something that you feel is related to the Din Clan.

Note: Before you read on to see who the member is for this month, I want it on record that I have no say in this whatsoever. I don't get to choose.

Tiroth, Din's lovable dictator and all-round cool (hot?) guy. He's the one in charge of keeping the bestest clan ever in check (I know Lio is a Din mod too, but I am only doing one member a month geez lay off communist). If not for Tiroth, Din would surely have regressed into an aimless, spam-full hell-hole, rather than the loving, caring community we have today. It'd be like, that annoying Din HQ thing, but everywhere. (Unrelated note, but I swear the only purpose of those things is for DD123 to sit on ceilings).
Unfortunately, I don't live in the UK. But if I did, Tiroth would be one of the people I would actually have any motivation to meet, because he's just so damn awesome.
So, hurrah for Tiroth Month, and "Who said the dragons were dead?"

There is the official description from teh Din Calendar. Now for a few technical details:

Format: Anything goes. Banner, 600x800, 10x40 - anything.

Judging: This competition will be judged by poll in the Din Clan, and the winner shall be announced here.

Prize: The winning entry will be used in Din to signify this, the Month of Tiroth. Other than that, a banner is a possibility, so there may be updates on that later.

Timing: This competition will run through the month. On 20th April, I will open the thread for entry submission, which will be closed on 25th April so that voting may commence in Din.

If you think i've missed anything out, or anything is unclear, use this thread to ask questions. Plus, I would appreciate it if anyone who is interested posted here as well, so that I can send you a reminder when the submissions thread opens.

Also, question, are the other guys getting artwork done? Or was that what "someone else" was working on?

Ashley is organising the artwork for the last three months; some will be done by her, and some will be done by whoever she asks to do it. I didn't really want to be running four competitions at once.

While you can enter such a thing if you wish...no. A mere Gun-Monkey is not capable of such a feat.

All depends on who Jodd decides should represent each month. It was his idea to start with, so he's running it.
