Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairytale

I've been following the manga for about a year and a half now, and it looks like it's finally coming to an end. I'm excited and sad at the same time; I'll (hopefully) get to see Naraku die, but then there will be no more. Admittedly, it has been going on an awful long time...

Does anyone else follow it, or am I the only one out here? :XD

I read the first nine or so volumes of the manga at the library, and it was interesting enough when I read it.

But from what I've seen, it just goes on. And on. And on. And on some more! The fact that it will actually have an end does nothing short of amaze me.

Not sure about the manga, but the anime has no real end. Naraku doesn't die or anything, they just give a speech about how they will one day destroy him. Lame.

The anime stops at what is about halfway through the manga. I'm not sure why it was stopped, though. :/

That's what I always hated about the IY anime. They sepen so much on the stupid pointless filler episodes that when it came to putting the main plot in they barely did. And when it was really starting to pick up, they cut off the series >_< I call that the DBZ curse.

I used to like it, but eventually became bored with it. This show has NO character development and NO plot. The lameness of it all just began to irritate me.

Least it had good ending themes.

I love this show!!! I just watched all the episodes and the movies! Totally got hooked.

I do agree with Wolfen, that the story kind of drags on, I wish they showed more Kagome and InuYasha love connection, but there never was, built up to nothing, they didn't even destroy Nuraku, and Muroku and Sango didn't even get together. Nothing really was really fixed. But my love for the characters was what kept me going.

I there there was a lot of character development though, I disagree with what you said.

I think Inuyasha showed the most character development of all, second Kikyou and third Kagura. :/

Inuyasha goes from a bastard loner to someone who actually gives a damn about his friends.

Kikyou goes from a cold, selfish ***** to someone who is (sort of) kind and gentle.

Kagura goes from evil to not.

Although, this is more evident in the manga. I'm not too sure in the anime (though Inuyasha and Kagura most definately change, I'm not too sure of Kikyou).

And I hate it when people picture Kikyou as the 'bad guy'. >.>

Kikyou is my least favorite character of them all. Especially in the movies when she sends Kagome away. Jerk....

Anways, what ever happened to Koga?

Are you talking about in the anime, or after it ended and the manga kept going?

After the TV episodes ended. They had the movies after, but they never told about what happens with Koga.

Did the movies come during or after the TV show? I don't know. I watched all the episodes on Watch InuYasha Episodes It didn't put the seasons in order or anything.

I collect the DVDs. And the movies came out after the TV show, as far as I'm aware. Not sure.

But, anyway; in the manga, Kouga loses his jewel shards, returns to the Wolf Tribe, and is never heard from again. He's stopped hunting Naraku (as far as we know), and he's most definately not after Kagura anymore (that being kinda impossible, since she's dead).

Ah, I think I remember that. Because last time I saw him InuYasha left him with his colleague's, he was half dead or whatever.

I want to buy all the seasons. I have all the movies on my computer now. You can download them anywhere for free. ^_^

Unfortunately, I'm only on a dial-up connection, so no downloads for me. D: It's all I can do to keep downloading the manga chapters.

I own Seasons One through Four, and the four movies. I think there's seven seasons, though. :/

I have to order the DVDs in from the store, so it can take up to three weeks to get here. :/ They have individual volumes in the store, but I order the box sets.

I prolly just didn't watch enough of it to notice.

I might consider watching it again some day, seeing as I did like some of it.

I appreciated the manga much more than the anime although i have watched them too. You need alot of patients at some points in the seriess, but it pays off. The Anime, like many said does drag out the main plot but thats why the manga is much better.

You do know that its illegal to download/watch anime online? Which means you are just stealing from the company and creators.

But I do not really care. Mostly because if I did I would be a hypocrite. I read online Manga and sometimes watch movies online.
