I'm not really into anime, but isn't manga the term used for the comics, and anime is the term used for the shows/movies?

I think this is more suited for the Anime board. I'll move it there.

Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children I absolutely love this movie! Along with the other movies, they are a great collection!

No! Technically it's an anime movie in CGI that's BASED off a video game! Animated by Japanese = anime, so FFVII: Advent Children = anime.

Why even mention it in this thread, though? It's a terrible movie.

As for my favorites I'd have to go with Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise and Mind Game. Anything by Satoshi Kon is also a good choice for a favorite animu movie.

castle in the sky and princess mononoke are the best anime movies I've ever seen. Anything made by miyazaki or studio Ghibli is made of win.

Sky Blue as sexy as Fantasia, but with all the action of blade runner...truly amazing movie, a feast for the eyes as some artsy folk would say.

FMA movie...because...eeeer...it was the movie of the series?

She: the ultimate weapon movie (or, 'another love song') was quite good I suppose.

But I reccomend Sky Blue for a visual spectacuar

I really need to see the FMA movie -_-

Bleach memories of nobody - I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was, since the story is found nowhere in the manga. The best parts about it where the fight scenes and the ending (it drew a tear or two down my cheeck). Plus the main chick character (I can't believe I forgot her name) was hysterical.

Ghost in the shell - I saw the movie AFTER watching Gits SAC and Gits SAC: 2nd Gig, so when I heard the Major's voice, I hated it. She sounded too...manly.

I want to say Death Note the last name, though that's just a movie based off an anime. My theater is playing it on next month and I really want the movie theater experience. If that doesn't count I don't know, I'm not huge into anime really, more like a casual watcher.

Yes, yes they do. And Yes, yes they are.
Especially Swords of An Honourable Ruler. Probably my favorite ani-movie.

I also liked the first Appleseed. Havn't seen the seconed one yet.

Also I saw Akira for the first time over the weekend. Not bad.
It's the newest version with Johnny Young Bocsh(sp?) [Adam from MMPR] as Kaneda.

Either Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie, Zone of the Enders: Idolo, or the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy.

I'll go with Street Fighter.
