Who remembers Outlaw Star?

I do, I remember watchin it when it ever came on Toonami in 2001. I decided to make a thread about since I got the anime in a compelete box set as a christmas gift. I'm halfway through it right now and it's like a piece of my childhood came back. What about any of you?

discuss any thing about outlaw from plot to characters or memories you have about the show.

Congrats on the sweet prez, you have a classic.

It just took one view of the opening vid, but the memories come flooding back: Space pirates, Twilight Suzuka, the kickin promos, the annoying cat girl, space pirates, grappler ships, the banned hot springs episode, the annoying kid sidekick, space pirates, Casters, Jet narrating , Melfina, the McDougal brothers, space pirates and the Galactic Leiline. And space pirates.

It was cheesy, stylish and just a thrill to watch. My favorite moment was prolly when Gene first fought the McDougals. Nothing too enlightening, just wholesome clean/dirty fun.

ah thank you, I was begining to think I was the only one here who loved Outlaw star. I've already finished watching them, I laughed my ass off when I saw the Hot Spring episode, Gene kept on getting hit by that snow bolder.
I also noticed there was lot more potty mouth and more adult themes than Toonami could handle. LOL I loved it every minute of it.

I got the whole season on DVD last year for my birthday, turned out to be one of my favorite gifts ever. I really forgot how much I loved the show.

I remember watching the first half. Loved it and wish I could watch it again, I was thinking about this a week ago and remember trying to find the name of it a few months ago.

I remember outlaw star verywell. I watched it when it came to Toonami in 2001 wow that was years ago... I was only 11... But yea it was one of my first anime shows. and I love it.

I loved this show. The last episode I remember watching was... a person... and a ship exploding and the person couldn't get out. I forget.
I do remember that I loved it.

Ah way back in the day I loved Out law star, just the other day for old time sake I watched an episode, I loved it then and I don't mind it now, I had to watch it in English though so it pissed me off
