Favourite Anime/Manga Battles
So I saw the Favourite Naruto Battles thread, and I thought that this would be a good idea, cuz lots of other anime have nice battles, too.
Like Rurouni Kenshin: Hajime Saito vs. Kenshin/Battosai in Tokyo. Saito vs. Usui in Kyoto. Aoshi Shinomori vs. Kenshin in Kyoto. Hiko Seijiro vs. Fuji the Giant. Kenshin vs. Makoto Shishio in Kyoto. Aoshi vs Shishio in Kyoto. (x3 Aoshi lasted the longest besides Kenshin) And Kenshin vs. Sojiro in Kyoto. If I had read the manga, then I might name a few more  Fullmetal Alchemist: (It had some small ones, but some were cool) Ed/Al vs. Sloth Ed vs. Mustang Ed vs. Greed (in the mansion) Samurai Champloo: Mugen vs. Jin Mugen vs. Yukon or whatever the hell his name is...Shoryuu? Sara vs. Mugen Jin vs. 'The Hand of the Gods' Mugen vs. The three brothers Grr. Can't think of any others right now.

BLEACH:
Ichigo versus Renji Ichigo versus Byakura Yoruichi versus Soi Fong. All from the Soul Society Arc. Haven't sen any in the Bount or Arrancar Arcs.

Major ones that come to mind that I've seen;
-Most of the fight scenes in Spriggan were pretty good. -The Massive Pokemon Battle in the First Movie. -Goku VS Vegeta -Goku VS Freeza |

Haijime Saito vs. Rurouni Kenshin in Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin
In Dragonball Z, Vegeta vs Goku in the Saiyan Saga. It was so much better until they thought of the Super Saiyan ability. Suigintou vs. Shinku, in Rozen Maiden season 2. Not really a battle though, but Nana vs the kids in Elfen Lied. For the rest, I don't really watch animé like Naruto, Bleach and such. I watch Bleach, though. But I'm more into girly animés/mangas. Like, He Is My Master, Love Hina, Mahou Sensei Negima, Sailor Moon, etc. |

Anytime Mugen and Jin fight against each other in Samurai Champloo.
Tachikoma's (and the other members of section 9) vs. anti-tank helicopters in ep. 4, Natural Enemy of G.I.T.S 2nd gig. Saito vs. The major, during the flahsback scenes in episode 14, poker face of G.I.T. 2nd gig. Priss vs. Giant Miltary Boomer episode 11, Made in Japan of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Chun-Li vs. Vega, Streetfighter 2 the movie. Jo (piloting Django) and Takane vs. The giant cybot in Episode 14 of Burst Angel, defeating a giant robot by jumping your motorcyle of another giant robot and then chucking a wooden sword at its pilot. Any battle between the samurai and the nobuseri leaders in Samurai 7, starting to see a small pattern of me liking fights between human sized characters and giant robots. Clock tower fight in the Castle of Cagliostro. All three duels between Max and Miriya in Robotech/Macross. And finally Miss China vs. The Booze monster in the short Planet of Miss China on The Spirit of Wonder OVA. There are many more of course but I can't think of them quite of the top of my head and some may not be considered fights of battles in the traditional sense a good example would be Aramaki against various things in the Episode of G.I.T.S S.A.C. that is set in london. |

I have to say, the only thing that springs to mind is the final Luffy v. Crocodile fight in OP. That was a very satisfying fight.

One Piece:
Chopper/Usopp vs. Mr. 4 and Miss Merrychristmas: A bit long, but had some funny parts, some "dramatic" parts, and ended great too. Luffy vs. Crocodile (final one): Like Shik said, very satisfying. :] Memorable music, too. Chopper vs. Gedatsu: Chopper's time to shine! (About time, too) Sanji/Zoro vs. Groggy Monsters: Probably doesn't count as a "battle", but this was a fun one! Luffy vs. Foxy: Quite amusing, and the ending was cool. FMA: Ed vs. Roy Mustang: Very interesting fight- the beginning of it was especially hilarious, and the battle itself was great. Ed vs. Greed: Short, like they all are (unfortunately :[), but was fun enough to watch- especially since Ed finally had a chance to actually win this time.

First fight of Ichigo versus Yoshino and Geitie Ichigo versus Koga and Daruku in real world. Ishida versus Yoshi Rukia and Orihime versus the Bount with Rizu Soi Fong versus the Bount with Rizu Rukia versus Yoshi Hitsugaya versus Koga and Daruku Final battle between Ichigo and Kariya

Nagato Yuki vs Asakura Ryouko from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is way up there for me. It was intense.
Kamina and Simon (Plus the whole Gurren-Bridage) vs Thymilph, from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. A very emotional battle, I'd say. , Haruno Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori, and Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto's battle at the Valley of the End are my favorites from Naruto. The short battle between Ichimaru Gin and Hitsugaya Toushirou in Bleach was pretty sweet too. Kurosaki Ichigo vs Kuchiki Byakuya was nice too. Lenalee Lee's battle against the sea Akuma, and Allen Walker vs Tyki Mikk from D.Gray-man, are both quite epic too. Sawada Tsunayoshi vs Xanxus, from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. One of the few long fights with the main character I enjoyed. Yamamoto Takeshi vs Superbi Squalo also. That's all for now.
