Anyone Like Tokyo Mew Mew?

I used to be obsessed with this anime, I watched every episode in a week (on youtube of course). I used to get lots of images for it too. I still have a few
But yeah, anyone like it? Or even heard of it? Its really funny and cute too, its sorta girly though, well, more than sorta.
If you want me to describe it how I would, I'd be more then happy to, I guess.
The only problem I have, is that the manga is so expensive, but I guess every manga is? I have one of them, and I plan to get the rest of them soon. I find them more funny then the anime :3

Actually, aren't all mangas and animes like that? Tokyo Mew Mew only has about seven volumes, and I've read the one I got about 50 times. It entertains people, and thats what it was made for. <.<
If thats your opinion on this anime/manga, why should it be different for all the others people spend tons of money on?

in theory, you're right, every anime is made for getting money, but I just think this one isn't right for myself, seeing as it IS aimed for younger girls

You're right there, it is aimed for younger girls. But its just like every other anime, created for entertainment, and the people who created it get money out of it, and possibly have tons of fun writing it. The thing that attracts me, is that its funny, and its cute, so thats why I like it.

That's called 'Mew Mew Power' by 4Kids Entertainment, the original was actually good and had a proper message about the environment etc that 4Kids erased when they dubbed it :/

But as usual 4Kids Entertainment has shown their incompetence at dubbing yet another anime, which proves why they should never be allowed to be operating in first place. >_>

Why is the one girl named Lettuce though? I know the blue one is already Mew Mint, but still...Lettuce. Their names are like Strawberry(Ichigo), Mint, Pudding, and uh...Pomegranate(Zakuro) and then Lettuce. There should have been a way around that.
