Ouran Highschool Host Club

Anyone ever read or watch it? I heard it is comming to America (the anime) by funimation. Do you think they will ever have a second season?

If you don't know what it is, it is possibly the best romantic comedy anime/manga out there. I don't even like that genre, but I love this anime!

What do you think?

It's a lot of great fun. I don't like the genre much either, but Haruhi is such a refreshing heroine. She's a bit more like a "real" girl, and not in an anime "real" girl way but a "real life" real girl way. She's got a good head on her shoulders, doesn't care about what she wears; she puts on anything that's comfortable.

Plus, the rest of the Host Club is really endearing. I usually don't like the "charmer type" love interest, but even though Tamaki is a shameless charmer, he has a child-like, honest and innocent side to him. (Also prone to comical emotional outbursts and being a drama queen. Oh, that Tamaki.) They're all pretty unique and have interesting back stories, but the anime never takes itself too seriously. Basically, the message behind the anime is to have fun while you're still young. You have responsibilities that you have to attend to as well, but you should try to spend time with the people you care about and have fun while you can.

Why does every anime have one of like a list of 50 different morals?

I LOVE Ouran High School Host Club.

I just hope that FUNimation does a good job of dubbing it. Though at first I never really saw it coming to America in the first place. I'm just thankful that 4Kids didn't get it. (although I doubt they would even want it.)

There isn't going to be a second season. I'm pretty sure of it. The anime got it's own ending, that the manga didn't (it's going on, obviously.). Not that they couldn't create a second season, but I don't see it happening.

FUNimation can do no wrong. They only did one bad dub and that was dbz a long time ago.

And I don't even think 4Kids Entertainment is even still in the dubbing business, after they decided only to pursue productions that they wholely own or something like that. (And thank goodness for that, they can keep to their own sucky productions)

Heh, usually anything said to have romance in it I wouldn't bother with, but a few days ago Christine had the first book of the manga. Then she gave the book to Kelly, and then to Hannah, and then Aly got it, so the book was being passed around enough so that I cared to go off and find it.

Even though I'm only on episode 6 or so of the anime, I'm loving it. Nice plot so far, not the same boring plot that I'd usually see, funny, and the characters are awsome. Yup, definately watching more of it as soon as I track down the rest of episode 6...

I've been watching this and Darker than Black with two of my friends every weekend. Try to keep up with all of the holes and questions presented in DtB, then relieve that tension on the mind with the wtf-ery that is Ouran. It's pretty much the most stupid-awesome, fun, cute romance anime I've ever seen. Something refreshingly different in tone from other series that I've been watching; Death Note, Gurren Lagann, Inukami!, etc.
