I get the feeling it'll be a sort of cross between Hellsing and Samurai Champloo.

Which, in short, means it'll be awesome!

Although which Devil May Cry game are they gonna do it on? Or are they gonna make their own stories for it?

Maybe they'll combine the stories of all the games into the anime. I was always fond of Devil May Cry, so I can't f*****g wait for a Devil May Cry anime! It's gonna be awesome!

I don't know if it's going to be so awsome I mean, when people create movies out of the games, some of the movies do suck except for a few {Doom... weee!}, so i'm just trying to imagine what an anime show about Devil May Cry would look like and how good it would be. I'm not so sure that this is going to be good as an anime show but I might be wrong, it could become a complete success. I would love to see this though.

I can see this being a giant heap of fail. Usualy if a game-based anime is popular, people don't know about the game for it. Taking good ideas and putting them to a different type of media only really works for hardcore fans of the ideas.

There've been a lot of video game -> anime phenomena going on lately, haven't there. All I gotta say is if it's anything like the Xenosaga anime was... god help us all.

Converting Devil May Cry into an anime is like trying to turn Xenosaga into an anime; it ends with only your mind being raped by horrible plot discrepancies and character bastardizations. Even non-video games, such as mangas, turn into animes and come out less entertaining.

And I'm rather worried about Devil May Cry 4. Not sure why.
