My Search

Alright, I need your help people. I've run out of anime and manga to watch/read, so I need to know of some new ones. So, if you know of any lesser known anime/manga, please say so here. Which means none of the really popular ones, like Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Trigun, ect. That defeats the entire purpose. So, please post a description of any lesser known anime/manga you may know!

Negima-

By the creater of Love Hina, the main character is Negi Springfield, a ten year old wizard who comes to Japan as part of his probationary period as a Magister Magorum. He dreams of being one just like his father, who he has only met once and is searching for. His class, thirty-one fifteen year olds, are all female! Watch chaos insue.

Juvenile Orion is good

Mar is also excellent.

Sgt Frog is a good comedy.

Rave Master is remotely good.

Though not that well known, Demon Diary is quite funny.

Black Cat is very exciting.

EDIT: Yes, I totally agree with Yami on Rave Master. The anime sucks badly. The manga is remotely good.

Rave Master's anime is horrible, really. Stick to the manga there.

Try out some GaoGaiGar, Macross, Hellsing, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Vandread + Vandread 2nd Stage, Martian Successor Nadesico, and Magic Knight Rayearth.

GaoGaiGar is an fairly popular anime in Japan about giant mech (go figure). Excellently pulled off though.

Macross is old school mech awesomeness, while Hellsing is summed up in one word: "Kickass".

Abenobashi is just plain crazy, which is in a good way, while the 2 Vandread series are a good watch if you want something mecha with a little twist.

Nadesico is a staple in anyone's anime collection, and Rayearth is for the little shoujou fan in all of us. We all need some magical lovin'.

Alrighty, thanks yous very much. Arigatou! Those are all new to me, although I have heard of most of them. Except Black Cat. I've seen that entire series and am reading the manga.

These are all very good animes that I would suggest anyone to go see.

Righty, I've already seen the Suzumiya Haruhi series, and I've now watched Mahou Sensei Nagima. PS.......such freak'n hilarity. You were totally right. Especially the last episode.....

I would. Probably my favourite anime of all time, combining so many goddamn genres into one general sci-fi/mech comedy. And who can say no to Naze Nani Nadesico. And Ruri. And damn, Gekigangar 3?

How many other anime have an anime within itself? Pure genius.

bobobo is pretty stupid but i watch the anime ocasionaly, its really messed up and pointless but thats what makes it so funny! ok on to buisness. one of the first mangas i ever read was magic knight rayearth series which is less known and is a great manga. long story short, three girls get warped to a new demension and must save the land from the bad guy, save the princess, learn to harness there skillz, typical stuff, but the artwork is good and its pretty funny too! and although its already been stated, mar is kool, i like it alot, again mar is the same concept as magic knight rayearth except its kinda different, same principle, save new world and save princess and all, but instead of weapons they use magical jewelery called arm (pronounce air em ) that can do stuff like transform into weapons or tranport you or summon monsters or do a variety of things. some good stuff!
