Coolest Anime/Manga Villain(s)?

I didn't see a thread like this so here goes, who is your coolest and favorite anime/manga villain in your eyes? It can one or many and I didn't do a poll cause there is just to many.

My favorite would be Vegeta cause in my eyes he is definately one of coolest even if he does become good in the end. His awesome Saiyan powers, the voice, the laugh simply made him who is he and memories keep flooding back when I used to watch DBZ on Cartoon Network back in the days. I also liked Maximillion Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh and the freaky Orochimaru from the awesome Naruto series.

At the moment my anwser is the Noubeseri, from Samurai 7, the animated retelling of the Akira Kurwasowa classic The Seven Samurai. Basically they are Bandit Samurai who have traded their human bodies for ones of metal during the war prior to the events of the series. Quite large ones (more brillant mech work from gonzo's cgi department). They have turned to villian and steal rice from the farming villages to trade for the power untils that power their massive weaponized bodies and feed the more human foot soldiers they command. They believe in strength through power rather than strength through respect and knowledge and allies that the heros believe in. Seeing their massive floating fortress float over the rice feilds and scanning the crop as the farms flee is an image I will all ways remember from this anime.

But the good measure of the villians is how they play against a hero. Dwarfing the brave samurai they lead to some excellent battles of david and goliath proportions. they care nothing of the farmer's plight and they despise those who chose to protect the weak rather than to take what by strength they say should be rightfully theirs.

Yeah Pegasus was a good villain

Vegeta was too, till they ruined DBZ by extending the saga back in the manga, then again, then again, then again, then again purely because of its popularity.

I'd say that Frieza was a really good villain for DBZ though.

I don't really watch anime though

Tetsuo from Akira. As much as you try you can never beat him. He killed countless people just so that he could find Akira. Plus he has telekinesis so He pretty hard to kill. Plus he is a very human character. He was always picked on and had an inferiority complex from it. But when he got power, Boom!

I don't know, exactly, but who I'd have to say is Nakago, from Fushigi Yugi. He's EVIL and does HORRIBLE things, but when he was killed in the end, I ended up feeling sort of sorry for him, because he had been in the story so much before and you had grown so close to him, (not necesarilly in LIKING...) but still... that's why I think he made a HUGE impact in the story.

Did Neon Genesis Evangelion ever have a bad guy? Eva 01? Ikari Gendo? Pfft, I dunno. If it did, then it's gotta get the award for best bad guy.

GitS: SAC had a pretty well-fleshed out villian I thought.

Hmm this is a tuff one, it's between Paladin Anderson from Hellsing and Lagato from Trigun. Both are very cool and their weapons/powers are freakin awseome.

well I agree vegeta was awsome but I know of someone who was worst...

Saga..from saint seiya. he killed arles..and tried to kill athena
hades..from saint seiya.. he wanted to ut the world on a ifinite darkness and kill al humans

Cowboy Bebop's Vicious was a pretty good villain.

No one likes Orochimaru... or Zabuza for that matter? Orochimaru is the awesomeness that is evil. He's awesome, to say the least. To say the most I'd have to invent a new word meaning so much more than awesome. Like Awexome. Yeah, well, he is awexome. His summoning Jutsu consists of giant snakes, can't beat that. He built up the village of the sound right from the ground, thus being the Hokage of it.

For me it has to be Aizen he fooled everbody it thinking he didn't do anything

I have an arse load of fav bad guys! I can't choose, I love almost every main antagonist. I'll see what I can post....

Yep, love the bad guys.

Hmm.......I think Lust and Envy from FMA are pretty cool.......but villains don't really interest me much. I can't think of any that I like, right off the bat.

I nominate Legato Bluesummers from the Trigun anime. I can't explain how cool he is because it's just to hard to describe but I shall try! The anime is kinda funny/goofy until you get to the episode with Legato. The way he keeps his calm and cool and when him and Vash were communicating through telepathy and every was all cheerful goo goo ga ga and he asked Vash "You wanna draw?" And your still not exactly clear on who he is. You'd have to see it for yourself.
