Concept drawings for Neon Genesis Evangelion's Live Action movie.

I honestly don't know what to think...the Eva concepts are cool...but I don't like the live action thing. They should make a CG Version, like Advent Children.

It has been four years since it was first announced I believe, and only lately have we really seen much progress since those first concept sketches. I like this quote from Richard Taylor: "Everyone's intentions is to see it happen. It's a very, very complex property to bring to the world cinema because of its incredible following. It has to be done, hopefully, with great sensitivity and aesthetically with utter perfection. That requires time and thought."

On May 29th this new piece of information was released at the Boston Anime Expo: ""ADV also made several confirmations during the panel. The biggest and most exciting of them all was that the Live Action Evangelion Movie is confirmed and is going through pre-production."

Yeah, the production sketches are nothing new, they've been around for a very long time. But I am glad that ADV is finally mentioning more about it and that it is at least in pre-production now.
