You need to describe why people should join. Especially when you are on a Zelda fan site. Personally, I think ZU is better, so I won't be joining. I just don't see the point. However, it could one day be just as big as ZU. ...It just needs to grow.

Like...how? I'm thinking about combining two sites and making a flash game section. But with no one to help me get flash games, how's it going to work?

I'm not a pro forum person, but...

It looks like the forum already has a lot of different boards. You could add more on, but be sure not to just copy them to be like ZU's, or any other forum. Be creative.

Some things to keep in mind while advertising are:

Why they should join.
The benefits for joining.
What they can do on your forum.

As for the flash games, why not just make a Flash Game board, or just a Flash Game thread?

OK so this won't get me banned or anything advertising another zelda site? Some sites practically chop your fingers off advertising for a forum. Some the Nintendo fansite are obsessive over NO ADVERTISING...wait would it say if you were a mod? You sure post like one.

Do you mean embleming them directly into the forum? I'm not sure what system you are using, but some games can let you do that. Some games come with an emblem code which lets you play it directly on the board without having to click a link. An example of this would be:

If you put it inside one of the board html areas, it should work. (Header, footer, etc.)
