Hmm, I don't know, I'm quite sceptical about buying those things. I ended up with a fake game last time, however that was a Gameboy game so I'm not sure how it is with other games. Should be worth quite a bit if it is real, though, I'd sure like to have it.

Woah!!!!! $263!!!! Who would sell a new The Legend of Zelda game for that amount?! I would NOT definely bye it. I would rather find a new The Legend of Zelda game for a cheaper price.

Just so you know, anyone can shrink wrap something. All it is is plastic wrap which shrinks as you heat it, so people wrap it with clean plastic and take a hair dryer to it.

Though the box of the game does look in quite tip-top shape, I wouldn't trust it, especially off ebay.

Be careful if you plan to make a purchase, but what it comes down to, is that the value and how much something is worth comes down to the buyer. Someone may buy that for $300,000, while you may only want to pay $20. The value and it's worth will vary endlessly.

Also, the ebay page will expire, thus leading this to an immediate lock.

An immediate lock? What's wrong with waiting for the page to expire? After all, you never know, someone on this forum may want to buy the thing, as suspicious as it seems.

First of all, that's advertising, which would render a move.
Secondly, what I meant was, once the page expired this thread will then receive and immediate lock.

Ahh, right. I was going to say advertising.

*shrugs* About the actual thing... You never know. Someone may have kept it for that long. But selling it on eBay of all things with minimal information on it's background... yeah. >_>

An opened copy would drop to:
  • $89.99-With manual and opened box
  • $49.99- No box and manual
  • $29.99- Cartridge only

This is all U.S. currency and if you use something else, it's in Euros, Yen, and Peso's as well.

Aeffles is also correct, a clever retailer knows about the ole "saran-wrap-hair-dryer" scam, but a traditional collector would likely overlook it as the traditional retail packaging. That means that you could atempt to haggle with him through posts or threaten to expose him...Just kidding .

Naw, if you were just going to keep it, the box is pristine and this might ACTUALLY be retail sealing, but the picture's resoultion makes it hard to tell. If it's used, you're only wasting over 180 bucks. LOL

I wouldn't buy it, but if you're not a collector and just want to pop it in for some play time I can unofficially recommend an emulator or officially recommend the Collector's Edition or a cheaper cart.

EDIT: I wouldn't buy it also because he's not a power seller (guranteed by Ebay).

Somehow, I doubt somebody just left their NES Zelda game lying around and never played it.

But if it is real, I wouldn't buy it. Hardly anyone has an NES anymore, and it would just be easier to buy the GBA version.

But if you're an avid collector, then go for it.

Gotta disagree for one of two reasons:

1.) Your grammar is nothing short of magical
2.) It has risen past blue-book value.
