Let me just say, my eyes were popping out due to how long I laughed while reading through this thread.

Well I could probably edit and stuff like that, but there's no way I could draw everything. My art grades in school were good, but not that good. And at least you noticed that I'm still learning this stuff! I may not catch on as quick as the next guy, to be honest I never noticed that button before. And who the heck is that in the pic? The Riddler? If you want to be stupid at least try to take me seriously, I did just start up in these forums you know.

Good thing you stopped the anime project. It was going to fail miserably.

...I'm not quite sure what to say here. A reasonable quality comic is quite obviously within the realm of possibility, provided you get reasonably committed people and don't try to rush things. Also, I'd go for a black and white approach first, then possibly do colouring later if it turns out to work.

As for all the naysayers, you'd be surprised what a really determined person or group of people can achieve, besides which you have no idea who he'll end up getting for help. So I think most of your criticism is totally unreasonable and unfounded, and suggest you try either offering constructive criticism or just keeping your nasty comments to yourself.

That should suffice.

As an animator, it's quite possible to make quick short 3-5 minute episodes on say flash, or even hand drawn, however, the amount of tireless effort involved would take one person, hell, even a crew of 5 animators about 2-3 months per episode. Such a project could theoretically take years.


No one has that amount of time and/or patience for such a project.

*shakes head* If they enjoy it enough, it could theoretically be their favourite free time activity, leading them to do it whenever they have a spare moment. When this happens, times decrease dramatically. So I wouldn't count them out yet...but it will take incredible amounts of diligence. I wonder if they're up to the task...

Dude, it's waaaaaay to late to try and make things sane in here again. We've already entered Stage 3 Drama, two more stages and its all out flamming.

I most certainly support your endeavor to create a comic on the premise, zfan121. I wish you the best of luck with it.

The Legend of Zelda & The Alternate Realm.doc Please pardon any grammer mistakes that involve the !. My grammer check seems to think it's this ~ instead of this ! so just ignore those. The paragraphs get a little better after the first few pages too. This's cause I actually took some of your more....useful advice about the book. (well not you exactly but you get the idea.) It really is the size of a small book.

I can't read that, I need to join, and I dunt want to. Why are you giving us links to things we cannot access? As for your comic, it's gonna be a tough road.

Try looking this up in stories then.* LoZ & the real world crisis!* Make sure you type it in exactly,(without the symbols) cause like any search engine if you get one thing wrong you probably won't find it.

Fanfics are just whimsical thoughts that have been floating around in your head for the past week, put into writing. Comics take much more work. Trust me.

Past week, try past four months! Okay then, but I'm still going to give it a shot with some help. Also please read the story(for the game), just click last updated in the stories section. It's weird but I had fun making it. I've asked some of the guys at deviantart if they want to help, there's a tone of awesome zelda work there!
