Look, we are not trying to discourage you from persuing some sort of gaming career. There are a lot of job choices for it, and you will ultimately start at the bottom. There is Design, code, art, etc. It's very hard to try and do all - and Game Maker is not a "future". Yes, it's neat for amatuers, but ultimately it's a very underpowered program.

Now, while it's true Direct X is usable with VB, so is game maker. Heck, if there is a program or software package that runs on a windows machine, you can make it work with VB. While you can indeed create games via VB, it would be downright foolish. You want to act like your getting into the professional career? Well, if your going into the code aspect of Game making, I suggest C, C Sharp, and C++, three languages that trump VB in all aspects of professional game making.

Besides, if it took you this long to figure out how to multi-quote, I have to admit you are most likely in the wrong field. You may do ok in graphic design, as you use designated programs for that (and, it's not even that bad of a career... and you can use it to become a designer for a game company).

As for the Anime idea - it's not that it isn't a interesting idea, it's that after being shown how "impossible" it is, you insist we are wrong. Get out of denial, and face the real world.

So, yeah, ditto. And to think this all about you being so butthurt about the IGN prank.

If he's six, then he has less of a chance than before. And I'm assuming you're not, which makes you insane. And yes I've done "big projects" before, and they're hard as a T Rex turd. This is pure insanity/halarity. You'd need everyone in this forum to agree to participate before you'd even have a snowball's chance in hell.

There's big projects. And then there's outright impossible projects that only a complete moron would attempt, and even then they'd give up before they got half-way. This guy is attempting the latter.
