"Zelda the Anime, TP" Recruiting now!

KPgirl you are aware that he wanted to create an anime as complicated as Naruto or DBZ and Avatar the Last Air Bender right? Not some cheap thing done on Microsoft Paint, but the real deal. That would have similar art styles as the shows I listed.

I wouldn't claim this impossible... but the odds of it actually being accomplished are that of those of me going to Mars within the next hour. Someone, somewhere could pull this off. But him and a bunch of people met over the internet?

Zfan just can't pull this off. None of us on ZU could.

Remember, he wants something like Avatar the last Airbender/Naruto. Not a few crappy paintings in Microsoft Paint put together in Window's Move Maker.

He would need a damn miracle to even come close to being halfway decent.

I am well aware of what he wanted I just used the Paint and all stuff as an example. And it depends on how much you mastered Paint If it´s crappy or not. When I did my musicvideo I only had mastered Paint and just got Photoshop Elements.
And it´s not an impossibilty just a hard and much-time-taking thing. And also, If Nintendo did work with it it could come out very good.
And also zfan121 also talked about A Link to the smash so...
And I really don´t agree that belief and hope is wrong. That has driven very much people forward including me.

Yeah, you do fail to see it. He wanted to do this as a FAN and not with Nintendo's help. He originaly started this thread in an attempt to recruit people to help him.

Also you reallly need to lose the attitude that Nintendo is perfect and can do no wrong. If it were not for Nintendo, CD-I games would never have been created. They did not do the actualy development but they allowed it same goes for the cartoonshow.

Nintendo is not some perfect entity. It screws up and just because its Zelda doesnt mean it wont turn out horrible.

For someone lik Zfan and a bunch of random people on the internet he thinks are great at their craft, it is an impossibility.

If he can prove to us that he can make a 2 minute animated clip as complex as that of Avatar or Naruto with all the background details...

I would support him.

The chances of you getting a group of kids together to do your bidding is about as likely as Rambo starring in High School Musical.

I just wanted to point out that if the fans get passionate enough about anything, they can do big stuff like Clairvoyance or Maikaze have done, that's all. I thought that people were saying making a fan animation was impossible, but I don't think that's necessarily true in general.

I don't think zfan's cut for it, though; I find his directorial vision somewhat juvenile and he seems to lack leadership skills. To think that one can make a full fledged anime about their own fanfic is very self-centered.

Nintendo actually does own an animation studio. They did an Animal Crossing movie and it was actually quite cute and a little bizarre. Clips are on Youtube if anyone wants to find it.

Of course I knew! But then it also came up asking a company or whatever from others. But you know, this is not completely impossible,sure it´s very hard but not impossible.

Now, sure Nintendo has made some mistakes but look at the wonderful games we have. Remember Oot for example? Yes, I highly agree that it wasn´t perfect but the game is damn good and I´m positive that Nintendo does more success than failures. The CD-games and all was a little mistake. Everybody makes mistakes!

Must I remind you of the 64DD (I posted a picture of it on the last page), the Stellaview, not bringing Final Fantasies 2, 3, and 5 to America until nearly twenty years after their release, using cartridges when their competition was using discs, and then let's not forget what happened when they did finally switch to discs:



There were what, maybe ten games worth owning a Gamecube for? And when they finally do come up with a good thing (which is not as often as one would think) they just milk it for all its worth. Hell, they're still milking the success of OoT and ALttP. TP was basically OoT and ALttP stuck together and given some original elements. To be quite honest, Nintendo is not that good. They just happen to have some hits every once in a while, and that's what keeps them alive. Right now, the only franchises they have left alive at all are Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Metroid, and Mario Kart.

And if you ask me, Zelda is on its way to the grave. Unless they can come up with something new. After the remake of OoT and ALttP that TP was, and the absolute loss of epicness from WW to PH, they're going to need something absolutely amazing about the next Zelda to keep them alive. Also, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is good, but nowhere near as ground-breaking as Melee was. I suspect that they'll get one, maybe two more games out of that series before it dies. Metroid is still alive and kicking, and Mario Kart will never die, so there you go. Nintendo has two franchises left that aren't already in the grave or on the way to it. Trust me, Nintendo has more failures than successes, they just seem to really hit it when they do have a success. In short, and on topic, Nintendo is not that good, and their involvement in any project like this would probably not help in the slightest.
