"Zelda the Anime, TP" Recruiting now!

Point well taken, actually I was thinking (if we did do it) of using my current project. Legend of Zelda: Mystery of Link. Story: It takes place a few days after the credits roll in TP. This multi-plot twist fan-fic has Link heading off to Ven-helm, Hyrule's rival country overseas to find out about the great war of Hyrule and eventually find out about his missing(or dead) parents. Who he hasn't seen sense he was too young to remember. Which of course we don't know in TP because he's already a teenager.

If a couple of computer and emulator savy kids(probably a team of ten or fifteen) can do a video series like "Legend of Zelda A Link to the smash" on youtube, then I don't see why a team of talented kids can't get together and do an anime. I'll put a link to the first episode in a sec. It's had thousands of views with plenty of good reviews. Besides if you're worried about time, why not wait until summer? The only real problem that I can think of would be communication.
I'll admit Hiroshi's daydream is far-fetched, but I was talking about doing the zelda one. Or the one I'm working on now.

And I have made a few improvements to my writing style but here's the two most important ones
1: Paragraphs, normally you'd start a paragraph every time you see this " but that seems tedious to me, so instead I start a paragraph in the line for which that character speeks. Here's an example of what I mean.
Normal method: Link looks at the dude he's about to fight.
"yeah and you're going to win because?"

My way: *indent* Link looked at his opponent. "yeah and you would win because?"

2: I use spellcheck and grammer check before posting each new chapter on the site.
I also find italicising the Narration for every little thing they say too much work, but I've made all the "other" important changes that you guys keep complaining about.
Also the narrator doesn't sound like a "sarcastic jerk" anymore. So my future fan-fics and this one should be more plesent to read.

I have to admit that you are the most persistant person in the history of humankind, time and all matter. I'm feeling nice at the moment so I'll give you advice: Try an abriged series first. Adamwestslapdog's abriged series are awesome.

(My nice moment has ended) It's still obvious to me that you don't like Rocky 4, and you still can't spell.

It won't work. There no way you could find enough people who are smart enough and/or willing to help.

And about A Link to the Smash. Those kids took recordings of gameplay from Melee and then changed around camera angles, text, music, etc. However, for this anime proposal of yours, you would need completely original footage. Which means you would you would either:
A) Have to draw it yourself, which would result in you dying of old age before getting anywhere near finishing it.
B) Purchase extremely advanced and expensive editing software and equipment, which you can not afford on a little kid's allowance.

Then there is the issue of voice recording. There is no way you could find any decent voice actors or voice recording equipment, and even if you did, there is no way you could afford them.

In short. it's impossible. Give this up before you insult your intelligence further.

And I have two words of advice for you:
1) Stop advertising your fan-fics in your posts. Do it in your sig if you must, but I highly doubt anyone cares anyway.

The problem is that the talented people needed for such a big project are few and far inbetween. It also takes a lot of work and time, you can't just do one of these for fun.

And as for your fanfic idea on your youtube...it's very typical and frankly not very interesting. Hiroshi could end up as a major Gary Stu.

Those people in those videos are probably very talented and very experienced, and probably have equipment and technology that, in short, this kid would not have access to.

Ugh, fine I'll stick to my writing then. So I don't know how to spell every word in the dictionary correctly, I haven't been in school for three ****ing years! But you should at least be thankfull that I've taken some of your advice (as far as my writing is concerned) seriously.

What if ZU got together and made one? I mean the fan art section is full of half decent anime artwork, like I said before the only real problem here would be communication and also finding willing helpers.

Mew72x's advice: You can try suggesting a zelda anime to an animation company. Just to say, don't even try suggesting it to Nick because they their heads start smoking at the thought of a good idea for a show. I've already tried anyway, but they didn't even post the thread on the message boards. Curse you Nick!!! Cartoon Network may be a good choice but if the way they messed up Pokemon is any indication of their suckishness, I don't recomend it.

First of all, no one will do something over only 1,000 signatures. 1,000 people isn't a whole lot when you get down to it. Plus, you wouldn't even get that many.

yes I'm being honest! I only work like 15 hrs a week man I can't even buy a new computer, let alone pay for a tuition! I'm putting back $40 each paycheck (weekly) for it. I got $260 so far, besides that I only work on my fan fic when I can do it without being annoyed by various destractions.....well that's all i got 4 now.
Also, I graduated with an accomplishment award in math and english as well as OCS. So if you don't believe me i don't care. :p

Zfan I find it incredibly difficult that you graduated Highschool with an English Award. You have terrible spelling and grammar. I know I am no expert in the area, but someone with an Award in English should type alot better. I think you are lying about your age.

Also 1,000 signatures is not a whole lot. They wouldnt even feel compelled to do this. Also they couldn't do it anyways. For someone who is over 20, you really have no clue about copywrite. For ANY company to even attempt a Zelda based Anime they would need Nintendo's ok. Otherwise I am sure they are open for all sorts of nasty lawsuits. I guess if they made the anime free... Nintendo might not care all that much...

But then they would be wasting their time and effort on something that wont make them any money. Why spend hundreds of hours of work on something they wont make a damn nickle on? Sounds harsh, but its the truth. They coudl love doing it for free, but it would eventually catch up to them. If the company is not making money off of the show, how are they supposed to pay for the artists and voice actors? The company might beable to fuel their paychecks for awhile... but that would only be for a short time.

If something is not making them money, why should they continue? They could employ those artists and voice actors on a project that WILL make money.

The idea of a Zelda anime is cool, but you are just not being realistic about this.
