Just thought I'd mention that alternatives such as Trillian support ICQ. Compared to the actual ICQ client, it has no spyware/adware crap that the ICQ client comes with.

why dont you get ICQ lite then? with out all the spyware, come to think of it i havent run ad-awaere for ages.
