After the discovery of "The Cure" the world seems unnaturally peaceful, safe even. For the first few year the world has very little to do with mutants, aside from the occational cure protests.Then along comes a spider by the name of Richard Dane, a politician of the worst sort who brings out the mutant 'exploits'. This American politician campigns for the outlaw of these 'dangerous mutants', otherwise known as DM's. After gaining Presidency he plans to carry out his plan to the fullest extent. Around the world several other countries have decided to go along with the plan, not wanting to be the last to get rid of the mutant problem. The plan would carried out simply and effortlessly. Identify. Isolate. Exterminate.

The plan starts off slowly in order to ensure that the DM's will come out of hiding. They announce that every mutant must register their names and powers with the goverment for 'the good of the nation'. Although some refused at the time seeing no point, others saw no harm in the registration and signed up immediately. The idenification was complete.

The next step would be the easiest of all, isolation. Flyers and lists of mutants living in specified areas were readily available to the public. Almost immediately after the identification was complete rumors spread that the DM's are have been the cause of several wars and death of millions that the goverment has covered up. They begin to rally against their friends and families turning them in by the van full.

The board was set. And the pieces were moving.

Now the final step has been put into effect, extermination. In order to catch these DM's the goverment must first recruit a few of their own. Enlisting several mutants to be bounty hunters and send them to the government camps. The bounty hunters are mutants who have turned their backs on their own kind, now called the Exiled. They prefer to be paid by the goverment rather than fight back. Comming from all around the world they plan to bring in as many mutants as they can.

Mutants from Britan, Japan, France, and several other countries are in a panic. Several of them have heard of the Xavier institute, the powerful Magneto, and the Exiles. Wanting to be saved in some way or form they travel to New York and arrive at the airport where they wait to be recruited by either of the three teams.

Back at the Xavier Institute, Charles Xavier had allowed some of their students to register with the government's identification program. Forced to go to school in groups, or teams, to ensure that the Exiles would not take away any of their students. The X-men have no choice but to ensure the safety of their fellow mutants that attend the institute.

The Brotherhood, being composed of their own group of maverics had never even considered registering with the goverment indentification but have been known to show their powers in broad daylight; therefore becoming an easy target for the Exiles.

The only option for either team is to either hide or fight back. The choice is simple. Stand and fight or be exterminated.
