Has anyone created a website on invisionfree.com? I just created mine, and I'm having a little bit of trouble. I don't know how to start some threads and topics. Could someone please help me? Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks!

If you dont even know how to start a new topic, why are you admining a forum? This is one of the many reasons invisionfree fails. Anyway, it might be helpful if you linked to your forum when asking for help.

Okay, you need to edit the permission forms so that all the little boxes are clicked when creating the forums.

Perhaps if you change the skin, it would look a bit better. (It has nothing to do with you, it's just that the defult skin is sorta weird...)

Second, um, do what the above person said^^ It'll attract members. Go to your CP and go to "permission masks," and apply permission where needed, disallowing it where not. (A helpful hint-don't let guests reply or start topics...<.< Been there...)

To create new forums, go to your CP and click "create new forum." It's pretty easy from there. Just fill in things where necessary.

To start a topic, press the "new topic" button.

I noticed in your rules, you say to censor your own words, but in your CP, you can put words you don't want written in the word filter. Just scroll down to "Word filters" and it's pretty easy from there.

There are random othere things. I hope I helped. If you need any more help, feel free to PM me (I've been an admin for many months) or question here, I guess. ^_^

EDIT: BTW, my "site" (I'm not root admin, but still admin sorta) it the "Join here!!!" thing in my sig. the "and here!!!" is another good site where I'm smod.

Uh, does anybody know if it's possible to have a banner rank system, like the one we have here, on invisionfree? I think I've seen it before, but I don't know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Administration Logon >> Admin CP Home >> Users and groups >> Manage user groups

Then choose which group you want to banner for. Click “edit” and find an option for a banner. Hopefully, you‘ll figure it out. And to top it off, I don‘t use IF because...
