It looks okay, your graphics and text need major working on though. Oh and IE sucks, you might want to try putting the stuff about <!-- w3c --> at the top somewhere (I can't remember it off the top of my head but it's in the HTML Help thread I think) and see if that works.
But yeah, you're right, essentially it is a poorer version of ZU's layout. Don't give up though.
What is the point exactly of that <!-- --> thing anyway? What does it effect?
Tells dumb browsers like Internet Explorer how to actually display the page properly complying to W3C standards instead of just randomly displaying the incorrect Microsoft way of decoding. It basically means you're page will be decoded following the W3C standards, so if your page displays wrong it means your code is wrong which makes it easier to ammend quite simply.
I put in that code and it just put parts of my keywords in the Header on the page yellow and double underlined. I don't thing it was the right one. If anyone has it it would really help. I'll put ya on the Credit page.
You put <html> at the start of the file and </html> at the end of the file. This tells a program that anything inside of these brackets is HTML code.
The <head> tag is used to contain all the information about the page, such as the page title, the CSS, META (for search engines) and such.
In the center of your page (probably where you have a file include) you have another set of <html></html> and <head></head> which are unneeded as you have already defined the <head> and you have already opened <html>. Like I said, the file you are including in the middle of the table probably contains these tags and these tags are not needed and thus should be omitted.
