i tried to go to www.kasuto.net like 1 min ago and it isnt working insteadit goes to some flashing thingy that says phsycophobia or something like that
then it keeps moving dwn the screen lower and lower ect nonstop so uhh does anyone know what happened to the site?

Eshies... I'm not very proficient in Spanish(Looks like Spanish, at least). :| Someone needs to translate:

I can't see any mention as to how the "hack" took place on Kasuto's forums.... although I haven't looked terribly hard. Apparently they've been forum account hackings recently, though.

Currently it looks as if the hijackers simply took over the front page of the site.

Bah. Looks like they just added another page to the root directory, and edited a .htaccess file or such to make that page the index/home so as to redirect any calls to the domain to go there. Well that seems like the simplest explanation as to what's happened. O-o

What may also have been the case is they simply wrote over the index.html file. Kasuto's always had a splash screen page (index.html) with a picture of his dog, some stats, and a link to the main site (index.php).

Either way, yeah, pretty simple case. Darn those brazillian hackers, though.

Apparently it's a quote by Adolph Hitler with the same mispelling as found in an online blog. I'm looking into it further, now. The Babelfish translation is a bit garbled.

All that was changed was my index page, and it appears that everything else is intact. I guess I'm lucky that only one page was changed, and not the whole site. But even if my whole site were screwed up, I have the entire thing running on my computer, so I can just upload the files and directory structure in no time.

But this means someone you don't want to have access to your site, have access to your site.

I gues you should at least change your password, and even though you have your whole site backed up, they can do worse things than just delete your site. I always had all parts of ZU backed up on my comp at all times, but still they managed to do something worse to the server: They hacked into the root and deleted all accounts, and that left me without access to my account for days.
