Zelda Miner is a project I made from the program Open Zelda. It's a simple puzzle project where you can play levels made by others. It's so simple, even a baby can learn it.
You may also share your level by uploading your screen data to the for others to try. At this point when you play the official game it will download a random level off of the website for you to try to beat. Just reset the game to play a different level. If I get a ton of different maps, I'll improve this. Instructions for playing * Run Open Zelda * Enter the door by pushing the left key. * If you don't like the level keep pressing the R Button * Enter the door again to download another random level (it's possible to download the same level again) |

Re: Zelda Miner
It looks pretty great from watching the videos, however, download does not compute.

Re: Zelda Miner
It looks pretty sweet. I saw the message saying that the clocktown theme was just a video overlay, does the game have music?

Re: Zelda Miner
I beat the first level, but there aren't any more quests in the download.
I NEED MOAR.

Re: Zelda Miner
???
You download the levels at random. At this point there are six individual levels. Once I have many levels I'll create a menu so you can download any level you like. Also in the future, I'll find some way to set it up to download a few levels at once so you can try to beat them all in one sitting. |

Re: Zelda Miner
That whole concept is just confusing. You should just put all 6 levels in the Quest folder, or whatever you named it. Does it do a random level every time I open the program?

Re: Zelda Miner
Every time you enter the first door it downloads a random level. If you don't like the level, just keep resetting it until all your lives are gone. Then you can download a new random level.
Never realized something like this would confuse players. |

Re: Zelda Miner
Oh my bad. I must have just gotten incredibly unlucky last time, since I got the same level three times in a row.
I played a couple more levels, and they're pretty good! I ended up getting a few broken levels though, where you'd start in a wall and it'd say "Error: There is no player set for the game". Other than that, it's probably the second best Zelda fan game I've seen on this site.

Re: Zelda Miner
There is now a total of 15 levels made so far.
I also am slowly working on a new version. You will be able to choose what level you want to try instead of just random. There will also be an arcade mode so you can submit a HighScore. Lastly there will be a default game. So instead of downloading a level, you can play through five levels, with only three lives. If you want more levels, feel free to create some yourself. |
