Searanox: There is no reason to discount the original Four Swords from theories. After all, it is a game in it's own right, one with a backstory, a story, and characters. It is nothing like Link in Super Smash Bros or Soul Calibur.

Obviously I'm not sure yet, but form what I've seen, I'm willing to bet that the GC Four Swords will be the same.
