Re: Rurouni Kenshin epsodes

Just buy the DVD, it's got some of the best episodes from the Tales of the Meiji Arc.

Asking me to choose my favorite eps from the series is a tall order, but I guess I can try

Episode 11 "Farewell, Strongest Men"- Good ending to the Obiwaban Saga, and some of the better action sequences in the show

Episode 18 "Run, Yahiko!"- Yahiko knees Gohei in the junk as hard as possible. Nothing more needs to be said.

Episode 19 "Raijuta's Ambition"- Good start to the Izu Saga, it really builds up everything well.

Episode 24 "Midnight Battle"- I really liked the story with Sano and Tsunan, and this ep provides a great deal of character development for them.

Episode 30 "The Devil of Vengeance"- The fight between Kenshin and Saito is one of the best, and it opens up the Kyoto Arc rather nicely.

Episode 53 (I Forget the Name)- A lot of good fighting between the Aoiya Oniwaban and the Kenshin Gumi

Episode 60 "The Man who is Chosen for Victory"- A really good fight between Kenshin and Sishio

Episode 64 "The Birth of Prince Yahiko?"- This one's just hysterical

Episode 70 "Shock of the Rairyu-Sen"- It was pretty amazing to see Kenshin get owned while he was at full-strength

Episode 73 "The Sneering Demon"- This episode featured some of the best action in the Shimabara Saga, and the relationship between Sano and Sayo became really interesting

Episode 75 "The Last Crusade" and Episode 76 "Bon Voyage"- These both really did a good job at closing out the Shimabara Saga, which was really the only good part of the Tales of the Meiji Arc.

If only they had made the Jinchu Arc into an anime...
