Alright I wrote this about 5 months ago, my friends thought it cool and I thought I could share it with you guys.


You're A Hidden Treasure



I travelled the world in search of you,
there is no limit to what I've been through.
Oh what I would do to hold your hand,
but instead I dread in sand.
I'm lost in a desert I thought I'd find you in,
though all I've found makes my world spin.
I need to find you and show you I care,
and all the memories we will share.
I should have told you when I had the chance to,
now my feelings will never be able to do.
I'm running out of water and this desert's only getting hotter,
I don't think I'll find you but I'm not about to stutter.
A village I see, just like in my dream,
this is where I saw you scream.
As I run up to find you here,
my heart cried my last tear.
You stand on the roof of a home but you're not up there alone,
Something's wrong and that man behind you is in the wrong zone.
The next thing I saw set aflame to my heart,
he pushed you off and you fell faster than a dart.
Then it comes clear,
all I have is all I feared.
I wake up from the illusion,
drowning in quicksand and this is my conclusion.
