I would prefer it if men would not use make-up, because I feel it doesn't make them look better like it appears to do on women. It does not fit, simply.

That, to me, is an admission of a double standard: I agree that makeup (in most circumstances) is unnecessary and at times unflattering, but that applies equally to men and to women.
Makeup on anyone can hide his or her natural features, distort how he or she looks, and in many cases detract from his or her appearance, rather than enhance it.
