Appearance: Rhia is quite tall for her race because of her half human blood. Her ears are about four inches long. She has long, silky black hair that falls down to her waist and eyes the color of emeralds. Her skin is very pale from living in the darkness of caves for the majority of her life. She normally wears a dark blue tunic along with a black hooded cloak. She wear’s thick dragon hide boots that come up to an inch above her knees. In colder weather, she wear’s a deer hide shirt and pants.


Personality: She is normally really quiet, and keeps to herself. But when she’s with people she knows well, Rhia is quite talkative. She is often really random, and will often make people laugh without her meaning to by way of her actions, words, or expressions. Rhia is often very sarcastic and stubborn. She does not anger easily, but if enraged she can become quite violent.

Weapons: Her main weapon is a black hilted sword with a ruby in its center which she wears in a sheath on her belt. She also has a longbow which is mostly used for hunting, but if need be it is used for self defence.

Armor: She wear’s a dragon hide tunic, which is is quite difficult to get because it is hard to kill dragons, and they have become quite rare. Their hide is very think and almost impenetrable. It is also very expensive.

Skills/Magic:

Shadow Dagger: She can summon daggers composed of darkness and throw the enemy, damaging him/her and causing them to be temporarily blinded by darkness.

Heal: Rhia had the ability to heal herself or others, but her power is not strong yet. She can only heal minor wounds.


Strength: She has excellent speed and can jump great distances. Her eyesight in the darkness is far better than it is in the light.

Weakness: Here eyes are incredibly light sensitive from living in the Shadow Elf caves. Rhia is notorious among her people for being clumsy. Her long hair often gets in her way but she refuses to cut it.

*sniff* "Momma?"

"What is the matter Rhia? Why are you crying?"

"The other kids are being mean to me again. They said I gots short ears and funny eyes and *hic* and they won’t let me play with them!"

"If their so mean to you, why do you want to play with them?"

"Because *hic* I want them to like me and *hic* I want to have friends!"

"Well, you don’t need friends like that dear."

Ever since she was little, Rhia had been shunned by the Shadow Elf clan. Although they let her and her mother Sara live with them, Rhia was never really accepted. Why? Because she was a half blood. And of the worst sort too. She was half human. On top of that, she was a bastard child. Because she was half human,she looked a little different than the other Elves. Her ears were shorter than theirs, her eyes where green, when normally Shadow Elves had black eyes. She was also twice as tall as most of them. Thats whey she was often made fun of, but it truth, the Shadow Elves where afraid of her. She was stronger and faster than the best warrior elf.
She tried countless times to become accepted, but they always pushed her away, and the last time was just too much for her. The Shadow Elves, who live in caves have a hunting party that go's out at night to gather food for the rest of the clan. When one of the members become too injured to continue or too old, tryouts are held to see which elf can fill the spot. One of the members was becoming close to that age.So Rhia began to prepare when she was 13 years of age. She learned to wield a sword, as well as the bow. She even picked up a few magic skills. She entered the tryouts, which happened when she was 17. Her mother told her she was the best one there, but parents always say things like that. The next day when they announced the winner of the tryouts, it was another elf who had horrible skills and knew no magic. Rhia decided that she would go and ask the elders of the shadow elves, why she was not picked. But she already the answer. It was because of what she was. A half blood. But she went anyway.

"So what will there lame excuse be?" she thought to herself as she made her way to the elders quarters. As she approached the door, she could hear the elders talking inside.

"You know, Rhia really should of been the one to join the hunters" one of them said.

" You know we can’t do that. She’s better all of the Shadow elves. How would that look to the other clans? A half blood doing the job of a true shadow elf?"

"I know, I was just saying."

So that was the real reason? Pride? Some elves passing by saw her and ran. They could see the anger in her face and sence it seeping out of her body. Everyone knew what happened when she was angry. She had almost killed one of her people the last time she became enraged, and did not realize what she had done until a few others managed to restrain her. It was another reason why she was not well liked. Rhia was about to knock the door down but she restrained herself. Instead, she ran back to her quarters. Her mother was already sleeping. She grabbed a pack and began to throw her things in it. Some clothes, treasures, money, and her favorite book. Then she wrote a note to her mother.

Dearest mother,
I can’t put up with this any longer. I’m tired of the way people treat me. So I’m going to leave. Please don’t look for me, I’ll be alright. My only wish now is to travel throughout the land and see as much as I can. I wish to perfect my skills and maybe, find a place where people will accept me. Don’t worry about me, please. I will come back someday.
