Yeah, the "tomboy" has has been around forever, but the "tomgirl" is a scandalous thing stereotyped by the media. It's as if any show on TV today that is about designing has to have a stereotypical gay guy or it's not complete or something.
To me, though, people who dress differently do so because they want to attract attention to themselves. Sometimes they are homosexual, sometimes not. You have to remember not to sterotype. My dad had to do a test one day for collage. It involved him going to the store with a purse. It didn't mean he was gay, but he did get quite a few looks. Why? Because it's not natural.
