Yes, at least MM, unlike WW, made up for its absence of dungeons by making them long. WW's sidequests may have been many, but they were all short and totally devoid of fun because the characters couldn't be related to(talking about personality, not looks) and most of it was just warping to inappropriate spots so you could play a horrible baton song, face one way and let go of the controls until an annoying enemy knocks you off your boat. And what's your reward? Pieces of Heart? I can't imagine ever needing them.
The highly-flawed Wind Waker will never be able to match up to Ocarina of Time or even Majora's Mask(which I thought inferior to OOT, but still good) in any way in my eyes, and I'm surprised that it does in the eyes of others.
