I would most definately be a Phoenix!

I get to live for roughly five hundred years.
They way they die is really cool too - they build themselves a nest of cinnamon twigs that then ignites; and, like you all know - after burning itself, a new Bird rises from the ashes.

I love the way sources describe it, as being akin to a Peacock with vibrant Crimson and Gold plumage, it just looks so graceful and powerful.

Plus, the whole immortality and healing power thing is a cool thing to be able to do.

It's obviously a popular Myth, since it's inspired so many things, most notably the Phoenix for the X-Men, as well as in Literature, where it's depicted performing heroic deed, like cutting off the Witch in Narnia, as it combusted along the ground.
