When Ocarina Of Time came out, millions of people including me were dazzled with the extreme coolness of such a game, and of the power of the n64. It was understood that this was the greatest game of all time. Then, Majora's Mask came out. a few thousand people, including me, were shocked. it was much deeper than oot, and it was more creative. the impact was larger, though its fans were few.
Nonetheless, these two games were the crowns of the n64. they were the greatest games nintendo had ever created. most everyone agreed with this. then, many a year later, the wind waker was released. everyone was happy that a new zelda game was out, but no one was utterly speechless. most people that loved this game were children. what does this mean? wind waker was good. but it was not the perfection of oot or mm.
many people were spawned to play zelda because of oot. but if you had never played zelda, would you have wanted to play the other games because of tww? would this site have been made because of the wind waker? what does tww have to show for itself? what makes it different from another run-o-the-mill action adventure rpg? it wasn't too original, using the ocean too much. what makes the wind waker such a special game?
