OoC: Kinda short, but at least I did what I set out to do. ^.^

Gloria was flying through the forest acting like her usual happy self, when suddenly she saw a sleeping man floating on the water.

“It’s not safe to sleep on the water! He could drown for all I know!” She spiraled down toward the sleeping man. When she reached him she found that he was serenely floating without showing any signs of drowning. Still, she grabbed him by his shoulders and started to drag him toward the edge of the pond.

As she reached the edge, the young man started to stir. “Ugh. Who are you?” the young man asked.

“I’m just a concerned citizen,” Gloria said with a bright smile. “But if you must know, my name is Gloria. Who might you be?”

“Nikudemon,” He said. As she looked at him, Gloria could see him clearly despite the fact he lay there soaking wet. He was around 18 year of age and seemed much like a fighter. His clothes were weary with travel and he seemed as though he’d faced more than enough battles as of late.

“Nice to meet you Nikudemon! Also, please don’t sleep on the water like that! It’s not safe…..” Gloria shook her head violently.

“Thanks, I guess.” Nikudemon looked at her awkwardly. “Do you happen to know where my sword is?”

“Oh, I think it’s over there. I’ll get it for you.” Gloria happily said. She flew over to his weapon and picked it up. His sword was beautifully crafted and she admired it. “I do love this sword of yours. Quite beautiful if I may say so.” She handed it to him.

“Thank you.” He took it and put it back on.

“Well, it’s nice meeting you, but I need to be on my way.” Gloria said. “Just between us, I’m on a treasure hunt!”

“Treasure?” Obviously, by Nikudemon’s response and expression, that he was intrigued by the mere fact she was looking for treasure.

“Yes! It’s wonderful! AND it lies deep within this very forest!” Gloria was gleaming with happiness. “I can’t wait. Would you like to come with me?”

“Hmm…. I think that would be good. I don’t have much else going on right now….” Nikudemon told Gloria.

“So… are you coming with me?” Gloria gave him a meek smile. Even though they were complete strangers a moment ago, she could use some help on her quest.

“Sure. It wouldn’t be right if I left a women like you by yourself in the middle of the forest.” Nikudemon explained.

“Thank you very much. You are the perfect gentleman! Besides, who knows what kind of things I’m going to encounter.” She exclaimed. “We’re off! We have to go north…. I think. That way!” Gloria pointed off into the distance.

“Okay.” Nikudemon nodded. Gloria could tell that Nikudemon was a man of few words, but still she felt safer with him around.

They started to walk into the thick bush of trees and Gloria couldn’t wait until they found the treasure. After all, it’s not everyday that one finds a magic leaf like the one they were looking for. The magic leaf would prove to be quite a handful.
