Cool Favourite temple in MM

I haven't seen a temple-thread for MM like this before, so I've taken the time to make one.

So, what is your favourite temple in MM?

My favourite is the Woodfall Temple. A plain beautiful temple with an extraordinary atmosphere to it.
I really love the boss, Odolwa. One of the coolest bosses in the whole Zelda-series, in my opinion.

Yours turn, guys!

Edit: In the poll, I've written Windfall(how did I come up with that?) and not Woodfall. The temple's name is of course Woodfall

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I chose the Stone Tower temple, it had everything... The coolest minibosses, the biggest dungeon, the best puzzles etc, etc.. Oh yeah, the atmosphere was really awesome too! While typing this I'm actually hearing the Stone tower temple theme in my head

Now that I've come to think about it, all the temples in MM were really unique, those temples were like one big puzzle instead of a series of puzzles in different rooms. They should do that in some of the TP dungeons

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I actually put them in descending order, from favorite to least favorite:

1) Stone Tower (Normal and inverted. Great music, enemies, challenge, use of masks.)
2) Great Bay (I liked this a lot. More puzzles, and an intriguing "branch-off" design.)
3) Snowhead (Interesting design with the pillar. I also liked the music.)
4) Woodfall, not Windfall. (It's as good or better than the Great Deku Tree, as far as first temples go.)

I'd consider Stone Tower my favorite for many reasons. For one: the music. Both themes for Stone Tower are two of the best in the game. They're catchy, and fitting. I also just enjoy the overall design of the temple (normal and inverted). It's the most interesting, and most challenging of all the temples in the game. All of the transformation masks are necessary, especially the deku scrub. Integrating use of each mask really is a plus. I particularly liked that they put more focus on deku flowers, because it made us not forget just how important being a deku is.

Plus, the temple's design borrows many aspects of the Spirit Temple in OOT, which is one of the best temples in that game.

Finally, there's the boss. The Twinmolds just breathe of nostalgia for similar Zelda bosses, like the worms from the second temple in ALttP. This is regardless of the fact that the former is almost as easy as the latter, with the use of the giant's mask.

I really enjoyed each temple in MM. Each tried something different from OOT's dungeons/temples, and I like that. Still, Stone Tower definitely stands out, and that's why it's my favorite.

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I don't think Greatbay is gonna get anyone's votes.

I would say Snowhead, but Stonetower temple has a lot more creativity and puzzle solving to it.

Stone Tower for me. Awesome Temple and the way you get to the Temple is great. Stone Tower is an original thought out Temple (no other temple involves flipping it upside down). Great use for the Stone Mask as well.

I think it is the only Temple in Majoras Mask that has to use all three Transformation masks (Deku, Goron and Zora)

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I really enjoyed the entire area leading up to Stone Tower, it was spooky and abandoned and full of neat areas and the boss fight with that skeleton king guy with the mirror shield?? That was awesome.

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I would've said Stone Tower a while ago, but since then I've discovered that I enjoy playing through Great Bay Temple more. The atmosphere is excellent, the soundtrack is awesome (though not as good as Stone Tower), and the place is rather confusing if you don't know what you're doing. Good times.

Stone Tower Temple is great, but Great Bay Temple is greater. Heck, it has the word "great" in its name.

Snowhead, by far. Woodfall was frustrating/boring. Plus, Goron Link and Goht make this really fun. It's like, the only "snow" dungeon besides Ice Cavern, which was short.

Snow Head was good for me. Actually all the temples were great in my eyes. Although I felt that Great Bay was... to mechanical for a Zelda game.

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I like all the temples but my overall favourite would have to be the Great Bay Temple (surprised?). Mainly because it has, in my opinion, a more gloomy feel than the others (all the gears and the water and such reminded me of this scary comic scene I saw one) and also coz its easy (...well I think it is )

Woodfall looked more like a temple than the others, Stone Tower was almost like two temples in one and the Snowhead one... It is good but the whole pillar thing just gets so complicated once you get about 3/4 way through.

Re: Favourite temple in MM

Stone Tower was best. The originality of it all... the way it is flipped around. The boss was really cool too as you fight it as a big Link. The music was great also, and it was just... great!

Re: Favourite temple in MM

I mostly liked the Great Bay Temple the most because of the setting and the music that they played. It's just so cool.
