"Oni" means "evil" in Japanese. Oni Link is just another term for Fierce Deity Link. When people say "Oni Link" they mean "Evil Link", and in actuality Evil Link is Fierce Deity Link.
EDIT: Oh yes. Iroas reminded me. Oni means demon as well.
