The woman gave a buoyant laugh as she responded to the obvious compliment, "Oh is that so? Well then, we wouldn't want that to happen would we?" Haden responded with a chuckle and their eyes met for the briefest of instances, before darting ahead along the gravel path once more.

The frozen trail creaked softly as two pairs of boots trudged confidently upon it, their owners lost in temporary silence as they indulged in the winter scenery. A soothing blanket of intricate snowflakes spread over the two government agents, who were at unawares of each other's affiliation. The spray of minute icicles swirled around them, brushing past Tanya's eyelashes and lodging into her hair.

"Uncomfortable silence isn't it?" she mused, shifting her gaze back to her companion.

"So..." she continued, pausing slightly as if trying to remember his name, so as not to appear out of the ordinary, "Haden, what does a man like you do for a living?"
