N64 prices weren't low until the end of it's life. It also had the most expensive games of it's generation. The only reason the Gamecube price is so low is because Nintendo dropped the price so that people would actually buy a failing system. The DS's original price is reasonable, for what it is, and so is the PSP's, for what it is. The difference there is the PSP hasn't had a price drop yet. The Revolution is the only console that's so far from Nintendo that is actually lower in price with some amount of purpose of being affordable. All other arguements are a bit of a folly.

There were a ton of crappy PSX games with loading times, but then again, most of the popular good ones didn't have any loading times at all. And the original PSX was crap. Yeah. It did have all kinds of freezing problems. Lucky for me, all my PSX games have been played on a PS2.
