This young woman was more than willing to hear, so Kichaa decided it wouldn't hurt to tell her about what he knew, but she looked ready to speak so he waited a bit. When she didn't continue, however, he decided he might as well.

"These sword styles are truly unique. The most advanced forms appear to have only been mastered by two people," he whispered to her, "Both of them women actually, but I've found a few books on them. I'm hoping to be the first man to master them all."

"How many are there?" she asked quietly.

"Seven that I know of, but there could be more. The ancient language they're written in is really very complicated and I don't know all of it yet, so I can't be certain. They're so complex..." he ended wistfully, "I'm not sure if I'll be able to find them all though."

Kai smiled at him and answered, "I hope you do. They sound pretty interesting. Do you know who created them?"

"No, the Ancient Masters, that's what they're called," he clarified, "are all long dead, though we know that King Mortogh was one of the first of them. The only ways I know of to actually learn them now is through their writings."
