The Dragonic Overlord--End of His Rein... I still glance back at it from time to time, wishing that I could kill Drago again.
In a good way, of course. Once his ban is up and I'm no longer angry at him, I suppose we'll have to hold another climactic battle.
But I have to agree that the BA seems to bounce back and forth between amazing and dull. Looking back at its history, I can say that it's been having one of its dry spells again. Judging from past experiences, though, I believe this one may not last too much longer. These spells seem to last for about four or five months at a time, and then the BA really picks up right around the beginning of Summer Break. I can't wait till then... I plan on hosting a battle for the FFF sometime around then, and it'll be absolutely incredible. Seriously, Safer, it needs a new name. That one seems kinda lame... we need something that just radiates "We made it big for about a week!"
Besides, our abilities in the BA shine more brightly than in our fanfictions... Well, except in Shrub's case. Her fics are always amazing. Speaking of great, I think I'll look into some of LR's work... I haven't seen much BA involvement from him, and after hearing that he's one of the Greats, I'm interested to see what sort of reputation he's built up for himself.
Right! Back to the point! In my personal belief, we should gather together all of the best writers we can find in the BA and shove them in a single battle, and then just blow everyone else's minds by showing them how cool and interesting a
real battle can be. It should be even greater than CMoC, which I personally think could have used some serious work. None of us were really at our peak then, and the whole thing suffered a bit from that. Drago's disappearance drastically affected it as well... But that's not the point! We need to gather up the best of the best and have them put on a show for everyone else. Let's see if we can excede 2650 views, eh?
I say we go for it! Who's with me? Let's end this dry spell once and for all, and give the BA something to be proud of!
