1. The common you don't now where Australia is on the map. Ahh how many sketchs have I seen on that.
2. You only learn about YOUR history duing your primary and most of your secondary years
3. Your military tatics-Shoot first ask questions later
4. The New Orleans incident how the place turned into "mob rules" if I may
5. I don't know if this is still going on over there or if it actually happened, that you had guns and other dangerous weapons in your hardware stores for SALE!.
6. Look who your president is.
EDIT:
7. You can be the most self-centred people

I have noticed that some of our geography and history suck major donkey balls(a girl I know once answered Spain as the soverign nation we rebelled from) but we don't focus on our own history. And quite frankly, we don't focus on those things enough(or maybe I say that since it is my forte). We have some basis in that at any rate, maybe we're a proud country but the fact is that the world is Euro-centered. You may be confused, but I happen to think that American culture is derived from plenty of Anglo-Germanic influences enough-- although American adopted the shift after the dominance of Europe ended in the post World War II era(well, all but the Soviets), at least from what I see. You say we're self centered, but really, the world is more or less centered upon this anyway. And as for living standards-- I think Sweden or one of those Scananavian countries actually surpasses us in that. So do a string of European countries. And you guys even have better literacy rates, the last time I checked. American is the world's big brother, really, who only is expected to ensure order because of our economic and social might. I don't see the millitary tactical thing-- I find America is one of the most
diplomatic countries. And what about our president?
