Yes, this has already been said.
The traditional hero animal in Japanese legend is the wolf.
Maybe the triforce of Zelda transform her into another object or person that represents Wisdom and...Love?..... And Ganondorf into something that represents Power and Evil.... So changing into an animal is just because that animal represents something. Maybe if a person is a good friend, heŽll transform into a dog.
I never said that Zelda and Ganon would transform, they would just be effected.
Zelda would be allowed to stay Hylian, and therefore retain her knowledge and mental abilities.
Ganon might be allowed to become super strong, or something to that effect.
