Appearance: His back, wings, and head are blue, and his underside is white. He has two front legs, but no back legs. He has large wings for flight, and a long tail for swimming. He has short horns, and a thick skull.

Personality: He is usually calm, and humble, but he will become ruthless, and merciless, towards threats. He is trained to be helpful to those he protects, and suspicious of others. He takes his job seriously, so he doesn't play, or bluff, when battling.

Weapons: Hydro Blast, which is a blast of water. Air Blast, which is a blast of air. Tornado and wirlpool are defensive moves. He can also summon lightning and ice. If things get bad, he can summon a hurricane.

Armor: Thick hide, and extra plateing on his head. His wings can also shield him.

Strengths: He has power over air and water, and can manipulate them both. He can also use sonar to see in darkness or deep water.

Weaknesses: Fire and Earth based attacks, and recklessness

Background: Gaerados lives on a ring of inactive volcanos in the middle of the ocean. One day, when he was very young, sailors came to the islands in search of refuge from a war. When they saw him, they thought he was a demon, who had come to destroy them. They offered him food and gold to appease him, and he accepted the offerings. He likes free food and shiny things.

Weeks went by, and the sailors farmed the land, fished, and bred animals that they had brought from the mainland. One evening, a child got lost on a beach, and cried. Gaerados decided to return the child to the villagers, just to stop the annoying racket she was making. This made them less fearful, so they stopped running in terror every time they saw him.

After a year, Gaerados became more interested in the humans, and often watched them work, but other people were also watching them. Gaerados woke up one morning to the sound of chaos. He flew from his mountain perch to find pirates attacking the villagers! He knew who pirates were, so he blew them off the island with wind, and sunk their ships with tidal waves. Afterwards, Gaerados was proclaimed the official protector of the people. They taught him to speak Human, and they learned his language.

As the war raged on, the villagers realized that the island chain was directly between two warring continents. Warriors from both sides began to covet the islands as a strategic place to build a naval base. Gaerados knew he had to protect his friends, and his home.

NOTE: I had on my sig that Leia was my last character, but I realized that I didn't have one that was best in water and air.
